As the Hollow reiatsu faltered and vanished, Tahoshi turned to face the others, to make sure Juno hadn't started fighting again. When he saw her lying on the ground, he flash stepped to them, using up more of his reiatsu reserves to make it in one jump.
"Come on, we need to get her to the fourth squad." He said, grabbing her zanpakutoh and tossing it to Razgriz.
"She needs help now, I'm faster than you, so would you mind checking the area for remaining Hollow?" He asked, before flash stepping away again, not giving Razgriz a chance to respond.
"Well to be honest, I'd rather get a nice long rest." Razgriz said directly to no one, but continued anyway, even though he knew Tahoshi was gone.
"I've had enough fighting for a year, but since you ask so kindly..." He finished, turning to walk through the door, even though most of the walls had been destroyed in their fight.

jewel sighed and brushed a hair from her eyes. the hospital wing of the fourth squads barracks was over run with the injured and those close to death. she was constantly running from one injured shinigami to another. it seemed like every time she got one patient stable another came in even worse off. to make it worse bandages were running low and wound sealers were almost completely tapped out.
to make it even worse hollows kept showing up sensing the injured and death. her overworked staff kept having to fight off the hollows. and more often than she would like shed would have to fight off a hollow and stop working on the patient she attempting to heal.
suddenly just as she finally closed up her patient another hollow burst in slamming her staff away and charging toward her. she tore off her uniforms top and ran at him. she was plenty pissed. as she got close she dropped, planting her hands on the cold floor and bringing her feet over slamming into the hollows head, cracking it's mask on the floor. with another clean move she brought her other foot down on the hollows now exposed neck, a load crack and the head came spinning off.
she brushed the hair from her face and called out, "get this thing out of here!" to her staff.
she turned again this time surprised to see captain tahoshi holding captain juno. both bleeding quite heavily.
"my god," she said graping the last of the bandages and would sealer. "what the hell happened?"

"Kyuuketsuki happened." Tahoshi said, lifting the almost unconcious Juno to one of the few spare beds. "He got away, but it looks like the Hollow are retreating." He said, slouching onto a chair nearby.
"Don't worry about me, these wounds will heal on their own." He added, looking around at the wounded that filled the room. Most of them were completely silent and unmoving. The scene reminded him of the napoleonic battlefields. The medical tent that he appeared in so many times before he was finally killed.
"Once we've cleared up this mess, we need to finish this." He said, partly to himself, but mostly to Juno.

Razgriz didn't particularly like the situation he was in: effectively, he'd put himself at the mercy of someone who, seconds earlier, had tried to kill him. The sudden clanging of the zanpakuto that was pointing at him impacting the floor was certainly a welcome sound. She still had her other blade at her own throat, though, and was shaking enough, from adrenaline and who-knows-what-else, to make it somewhat likely she really would kill herself on accident. The Russian knew, if he made any sudden movement, that would be how it would end. It seemed Tashoshi did, too, because he stood as still as granite, waiting for Juno to make the first move.
Her other hand went up to her blade, in an effort to stop it from moving. Good, good, she's just confused as fuck, she doesn't really want to die right now. It didn't really help her any, but it was still a good sign. No one wanted to make the next move, though, and so the trio stood in an unusual variant of a Mexican Standoff, waiting for anything. The battle continued outside, explosions sounded throughout the city, and shouts of combat's beginning and end seemed to come from all over the city, from seemingly more sources than there were menos. Had other hallows slipped in, too? This wasn't the time for that, though: there were plenty of shinigami to defend Seireitei, but only these two to figure out what was going on with Juno.
As the three waiting for one amongst them to make the first move, someone else did. A flash, not of light, but of...something came across Seireitei. It was like when the menos first appeared, but even larger. Less than a second later, it was gone, along with Tahoshi. There was definitely a something out there, it was not pleased, and second squad's captain was going to find out what it was.
Juno's reaction was markedly less To-Arms! than Tahoshi's, however. She managed to choke out a curse, and went for her other zanpakuto, but stopped and instead sunk down to her knees and dropped the zanpakuto in her hand. She sat there, the blood going into her lungs causing wracking coughs to shake her body before being diluted by tears. “She's got nothing left,” thought the head of Third Squad. “She couldn't fight anymore, even if she wanted to.” Despite all that she'd done, especially her trying to kill him and Tahoshi, and damn near succeeding, Razgriz started to feel concern for his former captain. He started to move towards her to carry her to 4th squad HQ (and, of course, hold onto her zanpakautai, just in case), when Tahoshi returned. Evidently, he didn't find whatever it was that gave off that reiatsu blast.
“Come on, we need to get her to the fourth squad,” he announced, tossing her zanpakutai and unaware that was exactly what Razgriz was about to do. “She needs help now, I'm faster than you, so would you mind checking the area for remaining Hollow?” he asked, scooping up Juno into a fireman's carry and flash-stepping away instead of listening for a response.
Sighing, Razgriz stood back up, feeling the fatigue and pain in his legs and kneecaps. “Well, to be honest, I'd rather get a nice, long rest...” he announced to the air, stretching out a bit. “I've had enough fighting for a year, but since you ask so kindly...” Turning towards the door, he walked out, pointedly ignoring all the holes in the wall the battles had caused.

Inside the hospital ward, Galm was tending to a badly-wounded rukongai citizen. The hospital staff had put him dead last in triage, due to not being a shinigami. However, Galm wasn't part of the hospital staff, and the doctor she'd been while alive was telling her to help this person. She cleansed the wounds, picking out bits of shrapnel and concrete, but there were many wounds on his body that looked like they'd been sliced out by a menos.
“What happened to you? What caused this?” She asked, trying to find out more about him so she could treat him more effectively.
“Big hollow...shot at me with glowing red ball...almost got hit by three...blew up a building right next to me...grazed me with its last one. I just layed there, couldn't do anything else. Guess...it thought it killed me,” he said, forcing the words out through the pain.
“Alright, alright, that's enough. Save your strength, you'll need it. Try to keep your mind off the pain, think of something else, something brighter, something-”
“I...was there...to apply to...the Academy,” he choked out, ignoring what she said. “I...was an Austrailian soldier...got hit assisting in Fallujah...medic saved me...got back out...got sniped later...didn't make it that time...came here...wanted to keep serving...hoped-”
“Geki. Sorry, but if you keep talking, you're probably going to die...Again,” interrupted the mage as she went to work. “You have some concrete right between your heart and one of your lungs. Your heart's going about a mile a minute, can't do anything about that. Your lungs still are working, but they've slowed down a lot. I'm trying to keep you as still as possible so that neither of those get pierced. So, sorry about the kidou, but it's better than dying because you introduced yourself.” Ending her monologue, she continued to work on the Kiwi. When a hollow burst through the wall like a much-less-fun version of the Kool-Aid Man, she did little except launch a shot of blue flames at it and leave the rest to the shinigami volunteering from other squads. To her surprise, however, the ordinarily-sweet-natured captain of 4th squad flew at the hollow, curbstomping it and decapitating it with her foot.
Wow...that was different.
“Get this thing out of here!” the captain shouted before it began to fade, then turned, narrowly avoiding Capt. Tahoshi, Juno still being carried, by now quite unconcious.
Galm, however...interested...she was about why Tahoshi was helping an ex-reaper like Juno, needed to get back to the person paralyzed on the table in front of her. She dispelled the paralysis, as she needed to check his back, but first gave a stern “shh!” and a warning that, if he keeps talking before she said he could, she'd lock him like that until he made a full recovery.
[OOC: Wow, I'm actually managing to get a post out while I'm up here! I'm still technically absent, but I needed a distraction, so here I am. Or was. Still can't really be on often.]

jewel immediately started to patch up juno. "captain tohoshi, after i'm done with juno i'll take care off you and if you object i'll break both your legs and heal them later, do we have an understanding?"
she sighed and brushed a strand of hair out of her face the wound sealer gone, she began to stitch up the deeper cuts on juno.
"and captain next time you decide to play good guys and bad guys with the other captains please try not to beat them so badly that my services are required, especially when seireitei has such rambunxious guests.
it seemed just as she finished with a line of stitches on juno another decent sized hollow burst in.
"damn it all!" she said and charged at the beast. it looked faintly like a twisted clown.
she dropped down, and in a clean move slammed her foot through it's right leg.
she slid across the floor slipped behind the hollow with great ease. the hollow looked around confused. and just as her foot slammed through the hollows chest. and with a simple twist the hollow fell in two pieces.
she kicked the pieces away and brushed the hair from her face. "now than captain, as i said can you please play nice after i patch you and miss juno up?"

"I'm still standing, and I still have most of my blood. I'll be fine." Tahoshi responded, knowing all too well that Jewel was being incredibly serious about breaking his legs. She'd have to catch them first though.
Jewel was working on fixing up Juno at the time, but gave him a stern look anyway.
"I'll be back after this incident has been cleared up. I'll take over defense of the area so your squad can deal with helping people." He said, but Jewel was once again not happy to let him go anywhere.
"Sit and wait. My squad can take on anything they can throw at us, and you're hurt." She said, easily pushing him back down to the chair, regardless how much he fought against her. The fight with Juno had done more to hurt him than he realised. This came to light though, as a spark of electricity jumped across his leg, causing it to spasm.
"You win this time..." He admitted.

jewel smiled softly at them, "that's better".
she turned and continued stitching up juno. even with her skill it was difficult, it seemed most of the cuts were compounded with electrical burns. even so it didn't take to long to finish stitching up what needed it and bandaging the rest.
once finished she pulled a blanket over juno to keep her warm. with a sigh she turned to tahoshi and brushed a hair from her face.
"now then," she said walking over to where he was sitting. and begining to bandage up his wounds, looking for any she'd need to sew shut. "is it true what they've been saying? is the captain commander...?" she couldn't finish the sentence.
"yes it's true," tahoshi said trying to hold back his own emotion. "he died in all the fighting..."
"i understand..." jewel said continuing her bandaging work, trying to hold back tears. he had been like a father to her, it was him her convinced her to be a captain in the first place. "so what do we do know?"

"We need to hunt down Kyuuketsuki, and tear him apart." Tahoshi said, deadpan.
Jewel took a step back, "Isn't it a little early? Half of Seireitei is out of action"
"That's the beauty of it, he won't be expecting it. He'll be here to take advantage of the chaos, and that's when we'll get him. I have a plan."

"well captain, i don't know what more i can do with you if you have such death wish i see no reason to patch you up beyond simple bandages," jewel sighed and stood up turning t and heading toward other patients. after moment she turned and looked back at him. "look tahoshi if your gonna try something that crazy your gonna need a medic with you, is there anything i can do to help?"

"Hold on Kotone, we're almost there" Hotaru assured the shaking VC, still supporting the rather injured woman. They were moving slow, and occasional interruptions from Hollow were not helping at all. But soon, Squad 4 HQ was in sight, and the place was swamped. Shinigami were running around like madmen, Holllow seeming dead set on the injured contents of the buildings. The Hollow, however, were faring extremely badly, getting killed left and right by the Shinigami defending and tending to the injured.
"Goddamn..." Hotaru muttered, making her way into the medical centre, resorting to strong arming her way through the dense clusters of Shinigami that had gathered. "Oi! Megumi-chaaaaan! I got another one for ya!" the begoggled officer announced as she finished pushing her way through the crowd. The vice captain she had in tow, however, was shying away from prodding medics, trying her damnedest to hide the disfiguration she had suffered.
