"Former Captain?!" Juno said, a little fazed by his words. "you don't even know me! I was never a Captain!" she corrected them, and started the fight again.
"You're too slow!" She called, Disappearing from both of their view. She appeared in front of Razgriz, both of her swords in one hand, the electricity arcing between them.
"Blue fire, Crash down!" she shouted, a palm outstretched towards Her fromer subordinate. Razgriz was caught full force, and sent flying back into a wall, the blue fire scorching his armour. She then disappeared again, her foot making contact with Tahoshi's face, sending him also flying. She flash-stepped towards him, hoping to catch him before he could regain his strength.
"Got you now." she said, her swords both heading for his neck. He could see only one exit.
"HELLFIRE!" he called. Instantly he stopped as his wings made contact with the wall of fire. The wall expanded suddenly, and shot skyward in a huge pillar of flame, engulfing Juno. As the fire disappeared, a scorched Juno stood in front of Tahoshi, who was breathing heavily.
"Give up, Juno.." He suggested.
<<go on Juno, you know what needs to be done here>>

As the fire cleared away, Juno almost collapsed to her knees, her twin swords having pierced the ground and providing support for the battered Captain. Laughing, she raised her head and flashed a vile grin to the two Captains that were facing her. "You think that'll stop me?" Juno questioned, her voice barely rising above the roar of Tahoshi's flames as she pushed herself back to her feet.
Staggering, she took a few steps back from her swords, still sporting a smile that would make even the most psychotic villains alive run for their lives. "Rage of the Storms... heed my call! Bankai!" Juno's voice echoed through the chamber, nearly masked by a deafening crack akin to thunder as her Reiatsu jumped higher than those present had ever sensed it,windows shattering under the pressure. Another crack sounded through the chamber as a bolt of lightning crashed through the ceiling and struck between the two swords, chunks of stone raining down around them.
Sparks danced along the blades as the electricity from the bolt spread, arcing along the floor beneath Juno's feet as it continued to stretch behind the small Captain's Zanpakutoh like a lengthening shadow. With a snap, the electric shadow peeled from the ground, the crackling whiteness taking shape before them. The last bit of electricity peeled away from the ground, bringing Juno's swords with it in the form of long, gleaming fangs.
More laughter escaped her lips as she looked down upon Tahoshi and Razgriz from her seat atop the large white wolf. The beast tilted his head back and howled before taking a step forward, electricity spreading from where his paws touched down. Still chuckling, Juno leaned forward against the back of Blitzschnell's neck, gently stroking his soft fur.
"Well, boys... let's play."

Meanwhile, a now-recovered Zero was dashing through Seireitei, a determined look on his face as he went. 'Okay, something isn't right... Juno-taichou was acting wierd... I mean, actually attacking, and aiming to kill? Something isn't right here...' the young blonde mentally reviewed, jumping over a large piece of debris. 'And I bet it has something to do with that woman that was with her...' Slicing through a hollow that stood in his way, Zero continued on, until he felt a large amount of reiatsu in the distance, causing him to skid to a stop. "What's going on over there and do I even want to find out...?" He asked nobody in particular, while subconsciously stabbing another hollow that tried to sneak up on him between the eyes. "Well, Only one way to know...!" With that said, he dashed off towards the scene of the fight...

"Well boys... Let's play." Juno said, rather playfully for someone outnumbered by two more experienced Captains. Unfortunately for them, she had the advantage of knowing their attacks, while Juno's Bankai was very new to both of them.
"Oh... Crap..." Tahoshi and Razgriz said in unison. Before they could even finish that, the Electric Wolf had disappeared from their view, and Tahoshi was sent hurtling across the chamber, electricity arcing around him as the Wolf steadied himself for another attack on Razgriz.
"It'll take more than that to keep me down." Tahoshi said from the hole in the wall he was now occupying. His claws hooked around the edge of the crater, and pulled him out. Fire seemed to drip around the walls, as if liquid running upwards. Razgriz' sword came into play, extending into a curved scimitar shape to take the brunt of the attack. Electricity shot through it, and into his arm.
"Ahahahaha! You don't stand a chance against me now!" Juno screamed, and Akiko seemed to also be laughing from the sidelines. Tahoshi noticed this, and smirked.
"What are you so happy about? You're finally going to die today!" She retorted, sending the wolf in his direction again. His Preparation helped keep him away from the wolf this time, as a fireball erupted from the crater he was still standing in. The electrified wolf charged straight through it, but found no one on the other end of the trail. Extended lava-claws tore into the side of the beast, but found nothing but the air between the lightning bolts that made up this beast.
"Ahh... That might be a problem..." He thought to himself, Modifying his plans for a slightly different approach...

Having gotten stuck in the wall by Juno's fireball and practically welded to it by Tahoshi's, Razgriz climbed out, and tried to slowly shake the ringing out of his ears. The sheer temperature of Tahoshi's attack forced him to go out of bankai or roast alive, but he was still back into a ready position, right arm prepared to swing his sickle through the struggling Juno's neck.
Said captain, however, was currently giving off a smile to put The Joker to shame. "Rage of the Storms, heed my call! Bankai!"
Her reiatsu soared, even to Razgriz's limited ability, proving to him that she was, indeed, activating her bankai. He tried to charge and stop her, but was stopped by a lightning bolt coming through the ceiling and raining stone down on the combatants.
"Well, boys...let's play." Taunted Juno from atop her bankai, a seven-foot-tall dire wolf
"Oh...crap..." the two other captains said in stereo, shortly before Captain Meteor nearly reprised his title.
The wolf turned its attention to the Russian, lunging at him. Razgriz sliced through the air in an arc towards the wolf's head, deflecting it just enough to avoid being crushed or eaten. However, what he didn't expect was the arc of lightning that ran from the wolf, up his sword, into his arm.
Crying out, Razgriz involuntarily dropped his zanpakutoh as his arm spasmed from the electric current surging through it. Seeing him like this, Juno began to cackle. "You don't stand a chance against me now!" she shrieked when she'd composed herself slightly.
"What are you so happy about?" She demanded of Tahoshi, sufficiently distracting her so Razgriz could reclaim his zanpakutoh and back away from the wolf. "you're finally going to die today!" She proclaimed, sending her mount at him. Tahoshi, having predicted the attack, got out of the way and set a fireball towards his previous location. When he sent his claws into the creature's flank, though, his smirk turned into a scowl.
"What's wrong?" Called Razgriz, feeling a bit better now that the stakes were higher.
"That wolf...it's made of electricity," he responded, removing his claws before being zapped.
"In that case...Byakurai," tested Razgriz, shooting a bolt of lightning into Blitzschnell's incarnation, to no visible effect. Except, of course, for having gotten its attention. "Ten-hut!" He said, straightening his zanpakutoh and stabbing it into the ground just as Juno's Bankai arrived. As soon as he felt its impact, Razgriz ducked, using his zanpakutoh as a ramp to launch said wolf. It felt warm under his hand from the electricity flowing through it, but it was definitely tolerable.
"Right, this again. Chivalry and Bushido, become as one. Bankai." Once again, his dogtags spread out as they became his armour, surrounding him in a complete metal shell.
"Tahoshi! Try to force Juno down, I'll deal with Blitzschnell! Distractions seem to be working!"
"Are you insane?!" He called back, wondering why someone wearing a conductor would volunteer to fight electricity incarnate. Said Wolf and its rider, however, weren't about to let them communicate; they flew at the armoured shinigami, Blitzschnell's fangs catching his right leg.
The pressure was definitely intense, thought Razgriz, but so far that wolf hasn't pierced my armour. This was only a small mercy; Blitzschnell didn't need to pierce it, he only needed to bend it so it handicapped its wearer. In fact, he didn't even need to do that, if he could inflict sufficient blunt trauma. The electricity hadn't been a factor, though, as the armour was holding it away from him. Taking advantage of the fact that everyone expected him to be paralyzed and bisected, Razgriz took a stab a Blitzschnell's eye, though it shook its head violently and threw off the shot.
Deciding that wasn't working, Razgriz started trying to pry its jaws open, the assistance from Tahoshi being just enough to make the pressure bearable.
"How aren't you being electrocuted?" Demanded Tahoshi, vocalizing the question on everyone's mind.
Through gritted teeth, Razgriz responded to the older captain. "Don't know if they existed when you died...wearing a Faraday cage. Get Juno down, I'll be fine. Long as it doesn't break my leg."

The squad 11 barracks were quiet, almost peaceful despite the chaos that had descended upon Soul Society. A small light was shining inside the window on the south side of the building, a small lamp was set up and cast the shadow of a large imposing figure sitting on the window sill inside the office. He was perhaps the only Shinigami in Sereitei who was not out battling against the hollow who had invaded because for him it was a worthless fight.
Eyes closed, Kiba scowled to himself. It had been forever since a real fight had come his way. The Captain-Commander had forbade Kiba to join the party's that had ventured into the real world, fearing that Kiba's intense lust for battle would cause unnecessary damage and clean up so Kiba was forced to sit and watch all the others go out and have there fun. When the hollows had begun their invasion, Kiba had an initial burst of joy. But his joy quickly turned to dismay when he felt the weak reiatsu that the hollow gave off. So instead of going out himself, he put his vice-captain in charge and had stayed behind.
Even now while following the pace of the fight nothing exciting had happened. Kiba shifted his Zanpakuto slightly so it was in a more comfortable position. He was sitting next to the window leaning against the wall. His left leg was straight out while his right leg was curled up so his knee was level with his face and his zanpakuto was placed in the crook of his right shoulder and ran down past his leg. Running his hand down the length of the blade, he wished that a worthy opponent would show up so he could test his skills and revel in the glory of battle.
From across the room someone began to walk toward Kiba. It was a soft step almost as if the one walking wore pads on their feet.
"Why do you sit here while the enemy invades us? I hunger for blood, go forth and feed me."
"Quiet dog!" Kiba shot back, never opening his eyes "The enemy's you sense are not worth my time. Besides, I'm sure their blood tastes about as bad as you smell."
A low growl filled the air, causing the hairs on the back of Kiba's neck to raise out of sheer reflex. "Your torpid attitude annoys me to no end boy, perhaps I erred in picking you as the one who wields me."
This time Kiba did open his eyes and turned to look at the large black wolf next to him.Gosaiboushi's shape was barely seen in the dark room but his burning red eyes stood out from the rest. A slow chuckle began to escape Kiba as he formulated a reply but was quickly cut off as a new turn of events began to unfold.
Two large reiatsu's flared up, easily recognized from the many times he had felt them before. It seemed Razgriz and Tahoshi had found an opponent to fight. The reiatsu their poor adversary gave off was slightly familiar but pathetically weak for both captains to fight together. Suddenly the familiar reiatsu flared up. This was a bankai but one he had not felt before, strangely familiar yet all together new, and a new flare of excitement washed over him.
A grin spread over Kiba's face as he reached up to grab the hilt of his Zanpakuto. "I'll satisfy your blood lust dog." He said as he stood to his feet. "I'll go out and kill until you have drunk as much blood as you can. Tonight just got a lot more exciting for the both of us." With that he swung his Zanpakuto to the side and blew out the window and most of the attaching wall and stepped out into the darkness with Gosaiboushi's low growling laugh of joy trailing close behind.

"Just keep that thing away." Tahoshi said, taking up a position near Juno. The flames that surrounded him were almost turning blue with the intense heat of the battle. In the back of the throne room, The clone of Akiko watched in horror, unable to do anything to these two, given their intense power, power enough to fight Juno and still be standing.
"Master, give me more strength, I need to be able to fight with her." She said, seemingly to no one. The voice of Kyuuketsuki appeared in her mind, and whispered something. Her Reiatsu flared up a bit, bit nowhere near enough to attract the attention of those currently fighting. Nevertheless, she now had power to do something. She opted to leave this place, as it may fall down around her at any moment. Between the pillars that were still standing, she ran towards the exit, Flash stepping as necessary to evade detection.
------
"Juno, I can't let you keep fighting like this." Tahoshi said, launching himself at the sniggering woman, they exchanged several blows, which to most of the non-Captains would seem like nothing more than jumping up, then landing again.
'Dammit, she's too fast...' Tahoshi said to himself. he wracked his mind for a way to make a difference, to at least slow her down for a moment... 'Slow down...' he thought again.
His claws retracted slightly, as he held his hand up, palm facing Juno.
"Feel your hour approach, Knave! Your time is at an end. Way of binding number 49! The sands of Time!" He called quickly, almost as if a net was cast over Juno, the Kidou took its effect, slowing her down to a crawl... Though she was one who could still crawl very quickly...
Tahoshi then launched himself at Juno once more, his claws lengthened, and the edges sharpened. "I'm sorry, Juno..." he whispered, as his claws began to glow red, the lava had begun to burn again...

Writhing, Kotone collapsed to the ground, praying that she had managed to kill the Hollow before her strength had failed her. Pain shot through her body as she tried to use her remaining arm to push herself back up, only to fail miserably and thud back to the hard roof of the building. She could hear the confused shrieks and roars of the Hollow behind her, fumbling about and smashing every object it came in contact with. The deceitful VC had managed to blind it with her shikai before her body had given out. Whether this was going to be good or not, she wasn't sure.
Breathing heavy, she licked her lips and steeled herself, firmly placing her bloodied palm against the roof. With slow but deliberate movements, she worked herself to hand and knees and then into a crouch. Soon, Kotone was standing once more, though it was a much more difficult task than she had ever remembered it being. Muttering under her breath, she took a step forward and lost her balance. If it wasn't for the friendly hand that caught her by her upper arm, she probably would have fallen on her face... again.
"Jeez you've been fucked up..." Hotaru muttered as she pulled Kotone's arm over her shoulders and wrapped one of her own around the other woman's waist. "C'm'on. I'll get you to a medic."
------------------
Juno barely slipped out of the way of Tahoshi's latest claw attack, her back now to where Blitzschnell was currently trying to remove the leg of her former Vice Captain.
"Dammit!" Tahoshi fumed, his attacks once again tearing through nothing but air. Juno was still too fast, even after having been slowed. He made more swings at the small woman, who dodged them all, though small holes were singed in her clothing from the proximity to the blazing claws of the more experienced Captain. Through it all, she was still chuckling, highly enjoying the deadly dance they were engaging in.
"What's the matter?" she taunted, "Can't hit me?" Her arms were half raised at her sides, head tilted back and sporting a mocking grin. Electricity crackled around her as she waited for Tahoshi's next attack. She leaned far enough away from the powerful swipe to avoid being bisected, though the attack still connected. Her lips were still locked in a psychotic grin as she dealt with the pain, lurching forward the moment the moment the claws were no longer digging into her torso. "That fire burns..." Juno purred as she latched on to a part of the tall Captain that wasn't coated in lava and searing flame. "But so does lightning... Ausströmen!" she cried as she unleashed the electrical charge that she had worked up straight into Tahoshi.
Taking a step back, Juno called out to the huge wolf as she turned and bolted towards him. He quickly lifted his head and flung Ragriz in Juno's direction, the small girl avoiding the Russian projectile with a well-timed flash step. She reappeared, skidding to a stop at her Bankai's side as Razgriz collided with the temporarily stunned Captain Phoenix.
That stunt had, however, taken quite a bit out of the diminutive Captain. With one hand on Blitzschnell's side, she ran the other along the bleeding and singed wounds on her torso. The pain was so intense from the slight gashes that it was actually registering with her clouded and exhausted mind. Visibly straining, she clambered onto Blitzschnell's back once more. Her narrowed eyes lingered on the two Captains, her fingers clenching tight in his fur. "It's almost over." she crooned as Blitzschnell broke into a run "My beautiful Lord of the Clouds, tear them limb from limb!"

This is the EPIC Competition choice. Congratulations Ivy/Eva, you win! --------------------------------------------------------------
"Ye Lord! Mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Terror of the stars, come forth and strike thy foe! Haien!" Cried a female voice as she shot toward a hollow, her two arm blades held in-front of her like and 'X' as she pushed herself off the ground. At the same moment the incantation ended, she was face to face with the hollow, she pushed her arms out, throwing them in an arc to her sides. As she did this, she threw the purple spirit energy she had called upon at the hollow, causing it to burn an "X" into is white mask. With a crying screech, the hollow was taken up in a bust of flaming purple and vanished within seconds. Meanwhile, the backlash from the blast had pushed the girl backwards, forcing her through the air easily. She braced herself to land on her feet. As she touched the ground and examined her work she smirked.
"Well, that was some over kill." Said a different female voice with a sort of sigh. "You'd think you'd give the poor thing a chance. Ivy your way to violent."
"Psh. Eva if anything, you'd let yourself get eaten by one of those things. Your luc-" It was a sudden shock, a feeling power; it made Ivy smile and Eva scowl.
"Don't tell me..." Eva started as she nervously glanced at her sister. The two were twins, but they couldn't be more different. Ivy nodded once and stashed her Zanpakuti against her hips. "Right." Eva sighed, but nodded. The two we're never separate and most of the time Eva was following Ivy.
The two took off towards this new power. They could both sense who was there, Razgriz and Tahoshi and this other new person, who they figured had to be Juno. As the two got closer to the Palace a heavy stench started to block their noses; the heavy sent of blood and death. Eva stopped in mid-step, her eyes searching. "Ivy..."
With a sort of annoyed "ugh" Ivy turned toward her sister. "What now?" It was then she felt it to, another powerful spirit. "Oh" was all she could stay as she quickly got back by her sister. "This might just be fun." Ivy smirked again. Eva went to protest, but was quickly cut off but a very low but distinct laugh.
"So another two to add. I must apologize, but my little angel isn't seeing anyone else right now." The voice came from a very plain looking woman, dressed in a Captions outfit, her light brown hair falling back into place. It looked like she had just ran towards them. She stood watching them to see what they would do. It almost seemed like she was confident that she had the upper hand, that it was an instant victory for her.
"Akiko." Eva said a bit nervously as she reached for her Zanpaktoh. She didn't want to draw it yet but she wanted to be ready. Ivy, on the other hand, griped the hilts of her blades and charged at Akiko. "Ivy! Wait!" Eva called after her sister as she ran to catch up.
"Your little 'Angel' huh? She just wiped out most of the Seireitei! Angel my ass." Shouted Ivy as she jumped toward Akiko, who merely side stepped and drew her own Zanpaktoh. When the swords clashed, Akiko easily threw Ivy off and made her counter attack.
"How dare you insult my little Angel!" Akiko started slashing at Ivy. One slash hit Ivy just right and threw her to the ground. "Thats all you got in you, hmm?" Akiko almost laughed as she struck Ivy in the arm. At that moment, Eva came from behind and swung down at Akiko. Eva wasn't one to cause harm, specially on another soul reaper, and held back on her strike. Her hit landed on her left shoulder, clipping a bit of her hair and giving her shoulder a cut, that wasn't very deep. It more like a warning strike.
"I can't believe I forgot about you!" Akiko growled as she turned to face Eva.
"I don't need you help, back off." Ivy glared at her sister, who was already preoccupied with blocking Akiko's onslaught attacks.
"A simple 'Thank you' would be nice once and a while ya know." Shot back Eva while she dodged another strike. She was thankful when Ivy appeared beside her. For a moment it seemed like the two were about to easily beat their enemy, but that moment soon disappeared.
"Sing me a song of demise, Tenshi no Requiem!" Cried Akiko. Both Eva and Ivy were pushed back, just from the force of the transformation. It wasn't as strong as when one entered bankai, but enough power behind it to throw the two back. The two quickly got to their feet but not before Akiko had jumped towards them, slamming into Eva.
Eva grabbed towards Ivy, feeling a bit of cloth she tugged, pulling Ivy down with her. "And now you die" Said Akiko as she swung at the fallen girls.
"Not yet!" Ivy growled as she pulled away from Eva and sat to fact Akiko, a malevolent look on her face. "Become Heaven bound! Sho!" She forced her hands toward Akiko, the force hitting her in the chest. This threw her back a few feet and dropped her on the grounded.
Ivy pulled Eva up and glared at her. "Learn to fight, your going to get us both killed."
"Well, well, we do have some fight." She smiled as she backed into the shadow of the palace, where she suddenly blended into the shadows.
"She's gone..." Eva looked where Akiko had just stood. "This probably isn't good."
"Damn it! She's not getting away that easily." Ivy growled. "The day goes in full circle, as does life: Rising Moon, Setting sun; the twilight beckons." She pushed the brim of her top hat up with her cane before stashing it against her hip. Her face, painted with dark, yet compelling jester paint. She smirked, somewhere between evil and psychotic. "Well, lets play."
"Guess that means its my turn, ready Amber rain? Can you keep up with my rhythm? Amber Rain keep it fast or keep it slow." Her Zanpaktouh split into two circular katars, her cloths became somewhat gypsyish. She smiled. "Lets dance."
From the shadows an amused laugh emerged. "You seriously think that Im afraid of someone with a deck of cards. You have to be kidding me." "We shall see." With that Ivy took her deck of cards, held her hands apart and watched them flow between them, her hands were like magnets, the cards moving between the two of them. Some of the cards started to become translucent until only two were left. "Nice pick, Moon."
"With these two cards, I will find you and then I shall cripple you. Combine! 10 of spades and Queen of hearts. Ignite my hands with your fire." A puff of smoke rose from each card, then they too vanished, a crackle and Ivys hands caught flame. "Now, lets find the monster in the shadows." She said as she walked towards the area where Akiko had last insulted them from.
"Silly girl, the shadow is my domain." hissed Akiko as she lunged towards Ivy. Ivy was surprised, the light from the flame let her see Akiko, but her weapon was still gone, lost to the darkness. She felt something slice her side, but she did not cry out, instead she shoved her flaming hand into Akiko's face.
"Bing, Bang, Boom!" With that an explosion ripped from her hand against Akiko's face. They both cried out in sudden pain, Akko's almost a high shrill as the flames bit into her face.
"You little bitch, you shall die!" She growled through clenched teeth. She lifted her blade and aimed a little higher, but the two were to close. She instead cut Ivy across her upper chest. With that she kicked Ivy out of the shadows. Akiko not daring to step out into the light, afraid to know what the flames had done to her face.
"Ivy!" Eva rushed over to her sister as she appeared from the shadows. Looking at Ivys burned hand, the gash in her side and the cut across her chest, put Eva into a panic. "Loving Water, lend me your arms and shield me from my enemy, Dance of Waves!" Her katars melted into two spheres of sparkling water. She quickly set to putting them on her sisters wounds. The burns mostly melted away, leavening a few scares. The cut in her side closed and healed slightly, as did the one in her chest.
"Will you calm down, you flip every time I'm hurt. I'm fine... " Ivy muttered to her sister, then looked back into the shadows, Akiko was reading something, though she couldn't tell what. Ivy didn't want to jump back into the shadows with her anytime soon.
"You two shall die... Mirror the Requiem!" Cried Akiko from her position.
Her Bankai was released.
Ivy and Eva exchanged nervous looks.
With a evil laugh a black figure emerged from the shadows. Ivy and Eva stared as they looked at the Grim reaper. Set into the boney hands was a magnificent scythe. "Its time to Die!" Akiko squeezed the staff of the scythe; a sudden red light surrounded the already deadly edge.
The sisters realized they didn't have time to unleash there bankai, they knew they had to try something different. Ivy took one of her cards and slashed it across her palm, then glanced at her sister. "My blood." Eva gave Ivy her palm. "Your Blood." They pushed there hands together. "Our Blood." The hands they had cut started to glow, with the others the pointed at the charging Akiko. With a flash Akiko found herself in a new place. She found that, though she was running, she wasn't getting anywhere. In fact she was running in circle. As she looked around she found she was surrounded by cards, kings to be exact, whose swords broke away from their base and started to chase her. If this wasn't bad enough, a pillar of light crashed down from the sky, knocking Akiko down.
Ivy and Eva stood watching the scene in front of them. Akiko didn't know it was all in her head. The two sister s only saw Akiko running in a circle, and then get slammed to the ground. Ivy smiled. "I love that part, to bad she had a stupid mask on." The two then released their hands, ending the delusion in Akiko's head. The two had resorted from there shikai to there sealed state.
"Its time to end this, it's time for a proper burial." Ivy steadied herself. "Spawn of all end, Master of Death, welcome anew your creation to your heart!" A black box formed around Akiko's thrash as she might, it was already done. As the spears shot through the box, the cries inside could not be heard. After a few seconds Akiko's body fell to the ground in a limp and bloody mess.
The two sisters fell then, there bodies aching. They sat back to back. Ivy was just holding on, on the verge of passing out. Her make up smeared and her cloths... in need of some repair. Eva was in a better looking state, she would watch over her sister. The two both heavily drained of reiatsu. They were both done fighting at the moment. "Eva."
"Mhm?"
"Thanks for saving my ass..." Eva went to answer but her sister had already blacked out.

"good god, this is too much." Tahoshi said, shaking himself back to life as he helped Razgriz up. He beat his wings several times, fanning the flames to bring them back up to full power.
He could feel the power of his Bankai dwindling, threatening to end at a moments notice. His own reserves were still there though, still enough to continue fighting after it had finished... He had to act now, while Juno was stunned from the loss of Akiko.
"Juno! Surrender, you're alone!" Tahoshi called, hoping that the kidou that had started all of this was gone now... He didn't get what he hoped for, instead the form of Blitschnell lunged at him. He knew that his claws would go straight through the electrified wolf, but also knew that Juno would be slowed by the recent happenings.
"Skewer." he muttered, holding an arm out in front of him. The claw on his hand solidified, and rocketed through the lightning body, heading straight for Juno, in one last attempt to stop her from doing any more damage before his Bankai ended.
Instead of hearing the sound of claw piercing flesh, he heard a sickening laugh, Juno had flash stepped to the side, and watched as the brittle claw flew past... her sword then tore through it, shattering the hardened lava.
Tahoshi's flames died down instantly, leaving him with a broken broadsword in his hand...
"you can't catch me with a bankai, what chance do you have witho-" she began, but was cut off by Tahoshi's yelling.
"SHUNKO!"
Bright white light shot up around his back and shoulders, tearing his Captain's jacket from him. His Reiatsu flared up, making the air feel heavy. Almost enough to bring down some of the weakened pillars of the building.
"Oh, its far from over." He said, cracking a knuckle.

Juno glared as she watched Tahoshi from atop Blitzschnell, the wolf's glowing blue eyes locked on the other Captain as well. A low growl escaped his throat. She remembered this technique vaguely from before she had first escaped to Hueco Mundo some time back. It had been an issue when she wasn't exhausted, but now it might pose a problem, though her newly aqquired Bankai might help to even it out. I have to stop him fast...
With a crack of thunder, Blitzschnell lunged forward, Tahoshi barely twisting out of the way of the white wolf's headbutt. Seeing an opening, he leapt to tackle Juno down from the personified lightning, but she flashed away, Blitzschnell rushing Tahoshi again as Juno doubled back and rejoined the fray. Barely more than minor blows landed on either of the Captains, both managing to pull off some of the most awkward dodges and counters, both fighting as hard as they possibly could, though Juno was on the recieving end of some of the more painful attacks that landed.
Another head-on clash, and reiatsu and lightning flooding the ruined chambre with a brief flash of light. The force of the strikes had sent both combatants flying, Tahoshi once again crashing into Razgriz, and Blitzschnell barely managing to land on his feet with Juno on his back once more. "End it!" she cried, her Bankai rocketing towards the two prone Captains.
And almost as suddenly as she had started her final assault, Juno lurched back in a manner simmilar to if she had taken the full force of one of Tahoshi's strongest punches straight to the chest. "H-halt..." she whispered, barely managing to stay upright on Blitzschnell's back. The massive wolf skidded to a halt, his teeth hovering over Tahoshi's neck. It was too close. Swaying, she gently stroked his head "...good boy... You're not needed here anymore..." The white beast took a step back, closing his maw as he bowed his head in an apologetic manner. A strong wind then picked up in the ruined chamber, a slight crackling heard amidst the howling wind. Then, the sound of feet against the floor. Blitzschnell was gone, a few arcs of electricity running along the ground under Juno's feet the only sign that he had been there. The wind soon died down, the arcs dispersed completely as well, leaving the small Captain to stand there, prone. Her head was hung, eyes unfocused as she stared at the ground with her battered swords loosely gripped in her barely responsive hands. Blood dripped from various cuts and gashes, her breath coming in ragged gasps. She ignored Razgriz as he carefully brought himself back to his feet, pushing the stunned Tahoshi off of him and to the side.
"Juno...?" He inquired, taking a cautious step towards the redhead, his sword at the ready "Are you.... you?"
Once he was within 5 feet of her, her head snapped up and she stumbled back, pointing one of her swords at the Russian. "Stay back..." she mumbled. Razgriz, however, took another step. Juno responded by shakily raising her other sword to her throat. She looked confused, scared. To her, reality was in the process of warping between one time and another. False memories were trying to fit in with truthful events. Her head was throbbing, the past fabricated by Kyuuketsuki's clone melting away as the haze of his influence slowly lightened. Tears began to streak down Juno's face as she was forced to relive some of her most painful memories. Sobbing, she pressed the sword harder against her throat, a line of red leaking steadily down her pale skin.

For the past several minutes, Razgriz had merely been flung side to side, occasionally being used as a battering ram, and never by choice. As he was dealing with nearly having been quartered by a wolf-shaped ball of lightning, there was what sounded like an explosion, and this situation reversed; Juno and Tahoshi ended up launching each other; the former landed back on her wolf. Tahoshi, however, was about to crash into him.
"Well, he's the only one who can actually land a shot against her...might as well catch him."
It almost worked. Instead of crashing painfully into the Russian's head, he crashed painfully into the Russian's torso. Once again, though, they were both collapsed on the ground. In the time it took Razgriz to register this, Blitzschnell was already charging them down.
Correction: He was charging Tahoshi, jaws wide open. He was at the other captain's neck before Razgriz could even try to react, there was no way he was going to knock him out of the way in ti-
...
Why isn't he dead? Tahoshi's head was practically IN the wolf's mouth, but it had more the appearance of a lion tamer putting his head in the lion's. He could see Juno, still on top of her bankai, dazed. She looked like she was saying something, but his ears were still ringing from the earlier explosion, so he couldn't make it out. Whatever she said seemed to have an effect on Blitzschnell, though; he took a step back, seemed almost to bow, then disappeared, leaving his master standing there as if her mind just got the Blue Screen of Death.
What the frack just happened?
"Juno...?" He began, rolling Tahoshi off him as he tried to stand up. "Are you...you?" As he asked this, he took a step towards her, sword still in hand, just in case. As he came within striking range, it seemed her mind had finished its reboot; her right sword came forwards, pointed straight at him. "Stay back..." she said, in what was supposed to be forceful, but came out more as a whimper. He took another step, meaning to try to reassure her that he wasn't going to hurt her, but it seemed he was the least of her worries; she put her other sword to her own throat, but she was shaking so much, it started to cut her. There was definitely a major battle going on in her own head right now. She needed something to help calm her down, even if it put him at risk. He started to back up, getting rid of his bankai and shikai, then putting his zanpakutoh back into its sheath. Looking her it the eye the whole time, he began to talk.
"Okay, I'll back up. See? Backing up a bit. I'll put my sword away, too. If you're coming back into your own mind, you'll remember that I suck with anything but it. Do you remember us? I was your Vice-Captain, until Kyuuketsuki killed Zenai. He's the same one who kidnapped you, and did...whatever that was to you. He was controlling you, Juno. You weren't. So, please. Put your zanpakutai away, or at least take them away from your throat. Please."

Meanwhile, back with Zero, who was still on his way to the scene of Juno's fight, said blond growled in annoyance as he took what was most likely his fifteenth double-back. Apparently, the destruction caused by the hollow invasion had created quite the labyrinth of ruin and debris. "Shit, by the time I get there, the action's gonna' be all over!" He exclaimed angrily as he found himself at yet another dead end. In his anger, he kicked the wall of debris in front of him, surprisingly causing it to shudder, before collapsing, leaving an open path to his destination. "... Well... That worked out for the best now, didn't it?"
However, after just a few steps out of the maze of ruin, the ground began to shake underneath the blond's feet, earning a string of curses from him. "Great, what now?! Mole Hollows?! Why do I always get the lame-ass animal enemies?! Can't I fight something better?!" He exclaimed, right before a rather large figure began to emerge from the ground. One that was definitely NOT a mole in any way, shape, or form. His hopes were answered... But with the typical overkill. With a large body that seemed to by made of dark, nearly-black flames, and bright red, and dark grey, unchained shakles around it's wrists, while it's head was made of similar flames, with white lines going from the center. An Adjuchas class, if it's reiatsu levels and size were any means to judge by. Looking up at the sky, the blond could only say one thing before the battle began. "Kami... You suck..."
Almost immediately, the hollow began to attack, by launching a rather large cero at the teen, who quickly reactivated his Shikai, and used Area Steal to dodge, before countering by throwing several small orbs at the head. "Mini-Bomb!" He exclaimed, as the orbs exploded forcefully, only to have no effect, as evident when the smoke cleared. "Okay... Try this!!" Rolling forward to dodge one of it's massive fists, which left a hole in the ground behind him, Zero allowed his Reiatsu to form a large cannon over his entire arm. "Tank Cannon... FIRE!!" He roared as the large blast struck the hollow. Again, little effect, as it reached out from the smoke and grabbed the teen shinigami and was about to strike with a cero from point blank range.
Struggling as much as he could, the blond managed to slip free at the last minute, ducking as he landed in front of the impact spot of the cero. "Missed aga-" His taunt was interrupted when a powerful stream of violet flames erupted from the hole behind him and struck him in the back. "Gah!!" sent sprawling forward in pain, Zero managed to push himself back to his feet, before looking back at the holes, which he could now see were tainted with the hollow's reiatsu. "Well, shit... This is gonna' be a lot tougher than I thought..." He muttered, before shifting his Zanpakuto into buster form, and unleashing a barrage of charged shots, along with sword slashes, cannon shots, bombs, and even yo-yos and boomerangs.
However, it seemed that no matter what the teen shinigami tried, the adjuchas would not so much as even slow down. Wincing as a punch finally caught him in the side and sent him careening backwards, he quickly flipped in midair, and kicked off the wall once it was in range. "Not good..." He panted, as he got back up, albeit somewhat shakily. "Time to use my ace in the hole... Though I was hoping to master it first. Guess beggars can't be choosers, after all!" Closing his eyes, he began to gather as much of his reiatsu as he could, before focusing it all into his Zanpakuto. "Take a good look, ya' bastard, 'cause I'm only gonna' show you ONCE... Bankai!!" A large blast of reiatsu erupted from his body as the first armor began to form. "Zeta Wōrokku-X!!"

Meanwhile, from a moderate distance away, Kyuuketsuki admired his work.
"Without a leader, anarchy reigns supreme. This should definitely make it easier for me to get to the Captains." He mumbled to himself, watching the madness unfurl.
"Go my pretty, use that Bankai I gave you. Tear them apart!" he laughed, stifling it quickly for fear of being discovered prematurely. He watched the Shinigami running down the street below him, leaving them wandering around like ants in a queen-less nest, he plotted his next act of destruction.
"With the fast one under my control, all of the others will quickly fall." He mused, trying to pick out a target.
But before he could get any further in his plans, he had to watch as his clone of Akiko was torn apart by the twins, the two newest captains that he hadn't even had a change to judge. His blood began to boil, and his self restraint faltered for a moment, letting out a short flare of Reiatsu, before vanishing into a Garganta.
"What was that?" everyone in the main hall said, including Juno. Could the flash of Hollow Reiatsu have triggered some recall to senses in her? She seemed to be more in control of herself for a moment, but was still a little light-headed from the events so far.
Tahoshi, being the only one of the three still combat ready, sprung towards the source of the reiatsu, flash stepping to get there faster. Unfortunately, by the time he got there, the Garganta had long closed, and nothing was left but a faint residue...
"Dammit." he cursed, punching the air. A shockwave flew from it, and tore the roof from a nearby building.

Following Razgriz' lead, Juno dropped the sword she had pointed at him in a show of good faith. The other, however, remained firmly pressed up against her throat as she slowly brought her other hand up to the hilt, trying futilely to steady her shaking blade. It cut slightly deeper into her neck, the fresh blood continuing to drip steadily down her neck and along her collarbone. A heavy silence overtook the three Captains, tension hanging thick in the air as the sounds of the raging battle around them started to die off as well. The explosions and screams of hollow and shinigami alike were now few and far between, a fire roaring somewhere off in the distance.
Then, a flash of reiatsu. It was a strong yet quick burst, quite obviously Hollow in origin. It also quickly gained Juno's attention. She had been dealing with that particular reiatsu signature personally, and recognized it instantly. Her demeanor quickly changed, eyes lighting up with renewed vigour.
"That... that bastard...!" she half growled, half sobbed as she scrambled to grab her dropped sword; but the sudden clarity was soon lost as the reiatsu of the Hollow faded away. With a violent cough, the redhead fell to her knees as both swords skidded along the floor. One arm was outstretched to stop her fall, the other pressed against her mouth as she coughed, yet more blood dripping from between her fingers as she continued wheezing. Now that there was no adrenaline, no kidou holding her upright, Juno's body was finally giving out. And try as hard as she might to hold herself together, her coughing fit slowly gave way to a mix of wrenching sobs and stifled crying as tears streaked down her face and hand, mixing with the blood that had dripped to the ground.
