Character Name: Juno Breyer
Gender: Female
Physical Description:
Juno is a very slight woman, standing no more than 5 feet tall with a somewhat childlike build. This leads to new Shinigami often underestimating the Captain. Juno's somewhat short rust-coloured hair is kept tidy in the front and is a tad more unruly everywhere else, contrasting heavily with her half-lidded midnight-blue eyes.
She wears the standard issue Shinigami uniform with the rare addition of a small black top hat with an emerald green band. She is always wearing a black silk ribbon and a silver chain around her neck. The chain is always tucked into her robes so it is rarely ever seen. On the chain is a ring made of black sapphire inlaid with an intricate silver design. (Both were gifts from Akiko - the ribbon was spur of the moment and the ring was in appreciation of years upon years of faithful service as Vice Captain. She is very protective of these items.) Along with a spray of freckles along her cheeks, there are a few scars on her face due to the incident, the most prominent one having barely missed blinding her. It runs diagonally from just above her right eye, under her left, and across her cheek and a small part of her neck. Another scar, though not seen by the general public of the Soul Society is just below her breastbone.
Personality:
Although she may not look it, Juno is extremely vengeful and quite brash, oftentimes not thinking before speaking. Although she is quick to anger, she has never once been heard raising her voice. She is also somewhat morose, having only smiled while describing what she'd do to "that bastard murderer" once she finds him again. She also hasn't genuinely laughed since the night leading to her eventually becoming Captain, and it has kind of become a game among some of the other members of Seireitei to see who can get the young Captain to do so. She is by no means unfriendly, though, but doesn't go out of her way to strike up a conversation unless there is a real good reason to do so.
Character History:
Juno was a normal kid living in Suburbia. She had loving parents that were well off, got good grades, was the star of her Highschool's Track and Field Team (The Goldton High Archers), and was dating one of the football players. Sure, he wasn't the QB, but the senior had already been drafted by the New England Patriots. They had won the State Championship in Track and Field and Football the year that Juno was killed. They had been arguing some that year, but he asked her to go to te Senior Prom with him all the same. There wasn't much too unusual about the prom itself. Some bimbo and the QB were named Prom King and Queen, Juno and boy slowdanced, they kissed, talked with people, and Prom was done. Being the gentleman that he was, he offered to drive her home but since it was such a nice night, he suggested that they go for a walk in the park. The Sophomore accepted. While there, they were jumped by a large man. Her boyfriend fought with him, attempting to buy her time, but was shot by the assailant. Another gunshot killed him. Juno wanted to run, but was too scared to do so. The man easily overpowered and raped her easily, no one knowing as the park was deserted at this time of night. Then, he put the gun to her temple and pulled the trigger a third time, silencing all cries of protest.
Her soul didn't once leave that spot, just sat on the park bench while she watched the rapist run, an early morning jogger discover the bodies of her and her boyfriend, the police start the investigation, reporters cover the sad story, and people from school and families come to the spot and leave flowers. Her boyfriend's spirit had since disappeared, and she had no idea where he was. So it was her and only her at the crime scene when the Shinigami came for her. She was rather awestruck, but the Shinigami was confused, as she was told two souls should be there to bring back. As it was only a minor problem that could be reported to her Captain later, she just brought Juno back with her.
Juno didn't end up in the best part of Rukongai, nor did she end up in the worst. District 52. She quickly became known for her swiftness, betting with others that she could beat them from point A to point B to make a living. Soon, Seireitei took note and she was swiftly drafted into the Shinigami academy. Juno got through in an average amount of time and was placed in the ranks of Squad 9. By this time, the Shinigami that had brought her to this world was a Seated Officer in the Squad.
After some time, that Seated Officer became Captain of the Squad and Juno, the Vice-Captain. The two soon became close friends, and Juno eventually fell hard for her superior. She never let on, though, as she assumed that there was no way her Captain felt the same. One night while the two were discussing matters of the murders that had been plaguing them lately, there was a break-in. Juno quickly leapt up to defend her Captain but was no match for the assailant. The man was about to kill her when Akiko blocked the strike with her Zanpakutoh, which snapped with the force of the attack. The man then laughed as he looked upon them, the Captain bleeding upon the ground and the Vice-Captain at her side, urging her to hold on.
The intruder once again raised his weapon, aiming to take down Juno now that Akiko was more or less dealt with. Akiko blocked that blow with her life. Juno didn't escape unharmed, though. She incurred various wounds, one or two leaving slight scars, the most noteable being where the blade that killed her Captain also struck her - just below the breastbone. This is the point at which help finally arrived. Knowing that there was no way he could beat the 4 Captains and 2 Vice Captains that had shown up, he disappeared.
Juno was traumatized by this incident, and more or less secluded herself for a few months. During this time, it was decided by the other Captains that the person most qualified for the now-vacated Seat of Captain of Squad 9 was Juno. She was given the news by the Captain-Commander and accepted it eagerly. She is positive that the man that killed Akiko is the one behind all of the murders currently going on in Soul Society and is hellbent on taking him down. She is currently continuing her training for Bankai, and making tremendous progress.

Zanpakutoh Name: Blitzschnell (With lightning speed)
Zanpakutoh Description: There is absolutely nothing special about the appearence of Juno's Zanpakutoh. Save for the fact that it takes the form of two shorter one and a half hand blades instead of one double-handed katana.
Shikai:
Release Phrase - Vagrant Dynamism, lend me Your aid... Blitzschnell!
Description: Upon release, electricity can be felt in the air, bolts arcing along metal surfaces every so often. The swords remain more or less the same, but change to a stormy grey colour with black blades, small arcs of energy running along their length.
Abilities: The blades become conductors, and if a target is touched with both blades at once, they will receive a nasty shock that may temporarily paralyze. The swords can also be thrown, more or less becoming bolts of electricity, returning to Juno on command.
Bankai:
Release Phrase: Rage of the Storms, Heed my Call
Description: Her swords become the fangs of a rather large, rather dangerous dire wolf composed of lightning and gale force winds.
Bankai Abilities: Along with having a living bolt of lightning shaped like a huge wolf at her command, Juno has a few abilities to make up for her lack of handheld weaponry. When she moves, she generates an electric charge that can be discharged in various ways, currently only a paralyzing touch attack
