The fallen remnants of our gloried days, crumbled dust so precious. In our past we hold the future; can you touch it? Can you feel it, the magical sensation of holding the future in your hand?
Name:Eva
Gender:Female
Race: Human
Theme Song:
Eva by Nightwish
All Fried Up By Pat Benatar
Morningstar by AFI
Physical Description:
Being Ivy's twin sister, they look similar, but not exactly alike. In fact they are some of the most opposite people you might meet. She is also quite slender, a little bit slimmer then her sister. Her full standing height is 5'5" also, except she has good posture. Her skin is also the same sickly pale color as her sister. She is very lady like, per-fering to wear the tight, yet elegant, Victorian dresses. With theses she wears white lace gloves and maybe a matching hat. She also dresses a bit up to date with slacks and satin or silk shirts. She wears various hues, but sticks mostly to the lighter colors. Her eyes are hazel in color, although most of the time they seem to be a forest green. She doesn't wear much make up, just enough to give her face some color. Her nails are mid-length and are painted with a dark metallic Amber. Her hair is a dark auburn, it's length going to her mid back. (This was also Ivy's natural color) She holds it with a simple barrette, pinned in the center, towards the top of her head. Her bangs are cut so they end at her eyebrows. It is also naturally curly, so it has some body to it. She also wears a thin gold chain around her neck, a simple golden cross hangs from it.
She is the right handed one out of the two sisters and has a small scar in the center of her palm.
Personality:
Being a pacifist in nature, Eva has a big heart and hates to see people in pain or in any danger. She is easy to talk to, being quiet herself; but in a more listening manner. She likes to be involved in the going on of things, even if it is just to run information back and forth. Being as frail as she is, she has learned how to work in a team cooperately. She also knows that people try to give her easier assignments because of her frailness. Sometimes she is grateful, other times she wishes that people didn't think of her as being so weak or in the way. People usually find her easy to trust as she, herself, is a bit to trust worthy. She is one to go to for advice or just to talk to when you have something on your mind. She could almost be considered "motherly". Another thing about Eva, is, thats she is very rhythmic, flexible and graceful. She also has a more hidden side: she can be very seductive if she wants.
History:
Time is a funny thing,
you can sit and watch it flow by,
watch everything change,
and still not come to realize that you can't hold on to everything,
some things need room to grow, to sprout, to change,
some things are given to much... and ruin what was given to them,
Thats when time seems to slow,
slow until you just can't take it anymore,
it starts to rip you away from the people you care about,
as it eats you from your insides,
slowly turning you insane,
until you just want to end it,
end the time,
kill it's flow,
and escape... into the unknown
Eva had always been attached to her mother. It might have been because she was sick as a baby or the fact that her father wasn't around much, because of his job; being an England ambassador She spent most of he time as a young child wrapped in her mothers protective arms. When she learned to walk she would follow her mother around. Her mom was glad of the company, but didn't want Eva to get burned or hurt by whatever she was doing around the house. She also wanted the sisters to be close. After a short time, the sisters became inseparable; the only way you could tell the two apart was by the ribbons each wore. Ivys a dark red, Eva's a light blue.
When they turned five, there mother told them that they she was pregnant and they were going to have a younger brother or sister. The two girls couldn't wait to have someone new they could play with and teach. After there mom didn't come home and there fathers once bright mood became depressed, they knew something was wrong. Eva took over the chores that there mom had left and convinced Ivy to help. She tried to teach Ivy the how to clean and cook. But found that Ivy was to stubborn to be told to do anything that she said. Eva fought Ivy on a lot of things, but she could never seem to get her to listen. She was grateful when there father brought Amy over to teach them what had to be done. Eva liked Amy, she was kind but strict when she needed to be. Amy was like Eva's older sister, she looked up to her and learned most of the things Amy taught them quickly.
A big change came when there father decided that they were going to move to America. To Eva this was a nightmare, she like where they lived and didn't really like change all that much. She was strongly upset by Ivy, who took to the idea of moving nicely; all to glad to be away from Amy. After three months, they finally came to shore in Mass. It took them a little while to get used to there new surroundings, but they adjusted quickly.
and then in the end,
I think you'll find time still goes on,
you find yourself in a new place,
with new things to face,
as your still fighting your past demons,
because they never seem to let go,
always bound to you,
closing your feelings,
and slowly eating away at your thoughts,
but in death you find a new meaning,
a new place to belong
Eva found herself in a whole new world. There father had let Ivy start a garden, and so Eva inherited some of Ivys chores. Eva didn't mind, she was to greatful to have something to do; she just didn't enjoy the silence of the house while Ivy was outside. When they turned twelve there father let them out in the the town. Eva was unsure how she felt about this. She didn't really like how Ivy made it '''her' time to show that she didn't have to listen; or even to act proper. Eva almost never ran in her dress, unless Ivy was dragging her around. It didn't take long before the towns people started to get paranoid. Around the same time they docked, word of witches started to spread. With the two girls looking alike, they became the number one discussion around the small town. This made there father worry, and soon they were only allowed into the town when he was going.
Eva, honestly didn't mind this. She'd rather be home instead of wandering through the town. She would hum a small tune as she cleaned, sometimes she would sway to her own beat when no one was watching. Ivy didn't take kindly to this arrangement, but did complain, much. Eva could tell she wasn't happy, but didn't know what to do. Eva kept up her chores, it kept her mind off things. Things like her father being nervous when they went to the town or that Ivy started to drift away from everything.
The kids in town were mean. They would call names and throw things. Eva had a hard time keeping Ivy away from them. There was one time that Eva found strange. When Ivy wished some kid had Chickenpox... and it had happened. Eva wasn't sure what to think, she didn't really believe the witch stories... and really didn't want to think of her sister as a witch. For awhile things went back to normal. They got friends and they were happy. Eva was a bit jealous that Ivy could just go and be with the guys, where she was to nervous around them. Eva was convinced that she at lest liked one of the guys she hung out with, but Ivy avoided answering. Eva noticed that Ivy started to avoid people, more so then usual. When she went to ask her why, she was shocked to see Ivy light a candle with just her breath.
Over the next few months, during church, Eva noticed that Ivy was impatient for it to end. After it ended ,Ivy would be one of the first ones out; most people thought it was a bad crush, but Eva knew better. It didn't take long for Eva to figure out where she was going and she wasn't sure how she felt about it. She could tell Ivy was changing, how she wasn't certain, it was something she felt and it felt wrong. When she finally asked Ivy what was going on. She didn't get much of answer, except that she was leaving. It was strange hearing that from her sister, and Eva didn't know how to take it, except to hug her and cry. She couldn't imagine being without her for a long amount of time. Ivy pushed her away and walked out of the room. Eva wasn't sure what to do when she came back with a knife. She winced as she watched Ivy cut the center of her palm, "My blood ", Eva shook as Ivy took her hand, and look away as the blade touched her skin, the cut wasn't deep but it stung, "Your blood", Then they pushed there hands together, "our blood." The too embraced the last time. Even though they left in the middle of the night, Ivy hadn't disappeared.
sometimes you'll find time moves to fast,
and you get caught in it's flow,
getting bumped and bruised,
from things in your past,
tiny clues that lead up to your future,
hopes, dreams, thoughts,
all mixed up into one entity,
an entity with a life,
one that can chose to live... or to die.
Once they had left, the town dubbed them witches and they were to be killed when they returned. Because they were 'witches' the town wanted to get rid of there families, but Lawrence's mother was distraught and Ivy's father was an ambassador from England, Eva was lucky because the town wouldn't touch them. Being without Ivy, Eva started to hang around with other girls from the village more and her nature slowly started to change. She learned if you look at a guy in a particular way, or wave your hair around in a certain way to catch their attention. The right way to wear a dress to show your assets. At first it didn't feel right to her, she wasn't the type to control people or mess with there heads. After sometime though, you could say that she started to become quite the seductress.
It didn't take much to charm men she noticed, her stunning green eyes and her auburn hair made it simple to her and the other girls noticed. They were quite jealous and accused her of bewitching them. Eva wasn't sure what to do. At first she was doing what the girls had told her and now they hated her. She realized how much she missed her sister and glanced down at the scar. Ivy was the one that seemed to get into the trouble, but she also seemed to always find away out of it. It didn't take to much for her to be considered some kind of witch.
Eva was hurt by this, she hadn't done anything wrong. Well, maybe wrong; but nothing she should have been called a witch for. It was more of an excuse to finally get rid of them. On a winter night, most of the villagers armed themselves with torches and gathered around Eva's home. It was late, and both Eva and her father were asleep. Eva woke from the head of the flames and started to run to her father room. She heard a sicking crack and heard her father's anguished cry. It was hard to find him in the red-orange that surrounded her, but when she did she gasped and then screamed. A lage burning beam had fallen on her father and trapped his legs. She ran to his side and tried to pull him out, but she wasn't strong enough. It was then she heard Ivy, or thought she heard Ivy. Perhaps there was a small bit of hope left. She yelled back and soon Ivy had found them. She was shocked to actually see her sister, she couldn't think of the slight amount of chance she would come back tonight. She was grateful, yes, but it wasn't the place for a reunion. Both Eva and ivy tried to move the beam, but it was to heavy for the two of them. They heard another loud crack and there father told them to run. They didn't want to leave there father to die alone, but he kept telling them to go. They left, fulfilling his last wish before he died. They turned to watch the house fall, and say a silent goodbye to there father.
The villagers took this chance to attack the girls. Ivy threw the ones on her off and pushed the people off of Eva and then they started to run into the woods. It was getting lighter, but the woods were still dark. Eva was having a hard time following Ivy and tripped. When she stood she could feel a sharp pain in her ankle. She told Ivy to go with out her, but Ivy wouldn't leave her sister, it was this that let the villages catch up to them.
What is life?
Is it not but a single word we have made that means our exsistance?
And what of Death?
Just another word that means we're gone from our exsistance?
Life is like fire, it's a burning passion that everyone has a chance at,
but it can just as easy go up in puff of smoke,
We each are given a choice, a choice to allow the fire to burn,
or to diminish it before it's time had come.
How fragile life can be.
The villagers noticed that Eva was hurt and knew she wasn't going to fight them. They all teamed up on Ivy and knocked her out as Eva sat and watched. They were dragged back to the village and thrown in the small jail. The guard smiled as he watched the two girls being thrown in. He walked up to the bared down and studied them. "Witches." He spat and shook his head. Eva hated the word, she was no witch. She stroked the small golden cross on her neck and glanced at Ivy. She didn't understand, she was sure Ivy was just messing with her some how; she never really lit the candle... But hearing herself being called a witch made her smile, she had an idea. She stood and walked awkwardly towards the guard. He backed off slightly, but Eva called him back over. She slid her hands through the bars and ran her hand down his face slowly, then carefully dragged a figure across his lips as she giggled, almost innocently. "Can't you just release us?" She asked, he voice light and sweet sound sounding. The guard back off a bit and shook his head.
"I can't let you go, no." He took a dagger from his belt and handed it to Eva. "But if you kill her.. I might be able to et you out." He said with a smirk and then walked away. Eva looked at the weapon in her hand and then he sister. She swallowed and walked towards her. Ivy was already knocked out, so she wouldn't know, wouldn't feel a thing...Right? Eva thought as tears started to form, she couldn't do it, she couldn't kill her sister. She went and sat against the stone wall and waited for her sister to wake up. She didn't have to wait long. Ivy looked confused, like she was lost, she looked at the rope shackles and then to Eva, then it seemed the the realizaton hit her. Eva walked towards her, showing her the dagger and telling her what the guard had said. Ivy looked afraid, Eva laughed in some sick dark part of her mind. She brought the dagger down and cut the rope so her sister was free, then walked back towards the wall. She held the dagger out in front of herself and told her sister goodbye, then stabbed it into her chest. She head her sister yell, and maybe catch her, bur all sense was gone after a few seconds. She was numb. She couldn't hear her sister if she was talking and her vision was blurring and then it was darkness.
The next was strange, she sat up and looked around. She saw Ivy laying next to her holding a bloody dagger above her chest. "Ivy, NO!" Eva yelled, but Ivy didn't seem to hear her. Thats when she noticed her body, she was really dead and now she had to sit and watch what was going to happen to Ivy. She swallowed hard, wondering if she had chosen the right thing. She sat and watched Ivy for what seemed like hours, talking to herself, thinking of the past and apologizing, before the guard came for her. Eva was surprised she just didn't kill the guard and run back to Lawrence, but then at that moment, Ivy didn't seem like herself. They lead her out to a stake and tired her to it. Eva cringed, they were going to burn her and she was going to watch. She watched Ivy scan the crowd and then just stare blankly ahead. She noticed that it didn't take long before they were ready to light the hay. Ivy didn't scream or make any noise, she seemed to just catch fire and disappear in the flames.
It was strange seeing her fall from the flames, seemingly passed out, Eva dragged her away from the village center and shook her awake. She watched her for a sec, watched her look at her with at confused expression and then jump up and start to pat out the flames that weren't there. Eva hugged her, just glade they were together again. But Eva didn't feel right, she suddenly felt this burning rage, she did just kill herself all because if her sister. A mix between a snarl and a gasp came from her as she pushed away from Ivy. A black shadow formed around her and started to change her form. Her hands and feet started to change into claws as the blackness changed into something with more of a body like shape. A tail sprouted from her back side and then a white mask started to form over her head. It slowly started to change into a sad looking dogs head.
Eva looked out at her sister, but her thoughts were cloudy and she was confused, she had no control of what she was about to do. It almost seemed like she was watching a movie as she ran at her sister, and a man in black stopped her. For some reason this enraged her more and she went after the man in black, she wanted so badly to kill and... eat him. And just as fast as it had happened, he seemed to beat her and she once again blacked out. When she woke up she was in a small village. She thought that it was strange, but asked around. She found out she was in the Rukongai; part of the soul society. She noticed that Ivy wasn't around and wondered what that meant. She was laughed at when she asked where she might be. She couldn't believe that there were so many districts. She soon found she was one of the lucky ones. She found Ivy who looked like she was sleeping. After the two enjoyed messing with people. Since they looked the same, they would steal from people easily. Eva also showed Ivy some of her tricks she learned from the other girls. It didn't take long for them to have a new name, the seductress sisters.
After sometime they heard of the academy and enrolled. Eva liked this "school". She got her first real close friends, but she was a little disappointed that Ivy didn't open up as much or even a little. Eva past most of her classes with high grades. She wasn't that strong or skilled with kidou. But she could use both well. She was faster then her sister and was better at blocking attacks then attacking. She graduated and went into the 13 court guard squads. She and her sister sharing a rank with in their squad.
sometimes I wonder,
Maybe I made the wrong choice,
maybe I should have stayed,
should have fought,
and tried to prove my innocence,
to see if they would have let us leave,
or maybe I could have brought Ivy with me,
a quick an painless death,
instead of the torture I watched her go through.
I wonder,
Does that make me the witch?

Zanpakutoh Name: Amber Rain
Zanpakutoh Description (Sealed): Amber rain is a simple double edged long dagger, amber in color. The hilt has a protective guard that covers Eva's hand and is a dark blue with light blue and white "specks" that almost resemble rain. The center is removed, in favor of a thin long hole, so it can be swung faster. (It also makes it look kinda cool.)
Shikai Release Phrase: "Can you keep up with my rhythm? Amber Rain keep it fast or keep it slow."
Shikai Description:
Once spoken her Zanpakutoh changes into two circular katars. They are still amber in color, with silver edges. They still have the open center and look a bit like thin rings/ hoops. The guard extends to her wrists and has a sort of cushion aginst her skin. (So it doesn't hurt when she's dancing.) Her outfit changes to be a bit more Egyptian like. Something like this. (Eventually I'll write this up, I'm just being lazy right now.) i423.photobucket.com/albums/pp315/Lustful_Moon/Rp%20Characters/happy_dancing.jpg (This is more of a "Look a distraction!" type of shikai.)
Dance Of Fire:
Evoking Phrase: Mighty Flame, bring forth my rage and ignite my hatred, Dance of Flames!
The Dance: A fast dance with lots of spinning, fist and kicking movement. Upon speaking the phrase, fire races along her two katars, covering them in an instant; it makes it look like she's holding two rings of fire. These she can throw or they can mold into something like gloves. This dance, mixed with Kidou can create some cool effects. Things like seeming to make her breath fire or having a fire whip.
Dance Of Water:
Evoking Phrase: Loving Water, lend me your arms and sheild me from my enemy, Dance of Waves!
The Dance: A slow and rhythmic dance, where the katars turn to a ball of water. Droplets from the water have a healing ability, it might not be potent, but it's strong enough to help quickly in a battle. It's not as useful as a healing kidou though, maybe healing skin wounds and aches. Using her Kidou she can change it to a 'sticky' ice. Where anything that touches it gets stuck to it as it instantly freezes. She can also morph it into a ice sheild.
Dance Of Earth:
Evoking Phrase: Stable Earth, center my movements and help me move gracefully along your surface, Dance of Gravity!
The Dance: A steady dance with sure footing. Her katars combine with her feet, making it nearly impossible to be plucked from the surface of the earth (unless she willing jumps), it also make her klutz proof. Her speed is slightly slowed, but not much and for this she had a more powerful kick.
Dance Of Air:
Evoking Phrase: All seeing Air, help me protect my comrades with your gusting winds, Hurricane Spin!
The Dance: Eva extends her arms out, letting her palms face up and the cutting side of her katars face out. She then starts to spin and eventually gains enough speed that a strong gust it made around her. The wind is as destructive as a hurricane, but doesn't hurt who she's protecting.
Bankai Release Phrase:Hear the angels cry, cast thy sins to the Heavens; Amber Rain offer comfort.
Bankai Description:
Again her outfit changes. It becomes white and 'Angelic'. She has a under layer of light/mist blue, that flows over her with a slight rippling effect. It shines slightly, it being made from silk. It's covered with the normal 'Angelic' robe. A white sash that covers her shoulders and flows down to mid-chest. The robe is white with long belled sleeves. A pair of angel wings sprout from her back. (Can she fly with these?)
Dance Of the Heavens:
Evoking Phrase:Dance is associated with joy and contrasted with mourning; Divine light guide my wings!
The DanceAmber Rain becomes one again, this time forming a bow. The bow can split in half, changing into two daggers. Together a thin line of Reiatsu forms the strings and the arrows. (A bit related to a quincy's bow, if thats ok?) Her 'dance' is basically take to the sky to see if that gives her any kind of advantage.
Combine Powers:
My Blood,
Your Blood,
Our Blood.
My Blood,
Your Blood,
Our Blood.
Together the sisters join hands and renew the pact they had in their past world. The move is an illusion of sorts. It is all in the opponents head. Think of being surrounded by a continuous circular wall of cards, kings that take out their swords and try to cut you up with them. Then a pillar of light coming at you and you have no where to go.
