Ok Everyone. This game is undergoing a revamp of the statistics. No longer will we be using the 'S.P.E.C.I.A.L' system, but a system that has been created from scratch, by myself. There will be no primary statistics, instead there will be just a set of skills. Everyone will get the same amount of skill-points, rather than the old system that depends on Intelligence.
So, Following here will be a guide on creating your character's statistics.

Here is a list of the skills that you will have. Notice that i have removed two skills, Bluff and Sense Motive. (They suck) Instead, the art of bluffing will be done through a post. Writing skill determines social prowess.
Skills: Melee Kidou Shunpo Reiatsu (Spirit Power) Block Sense Reiatsu Hide Reiatsu
Intimidate
Next, i will write a post about how many skill points you get to use. Please do not feel you need skill levels similar to what you used to have, as the new system is alot LOWER than it was.
Intimidate is no longer a required skill in this game. Rules change as of February 17th, 2008. The skills "Swordsmanship" and "Martial Arts" have merged into the "Melee" skill. Change effective May 30, 2008.

Ok, Skill Points!
Like before, this will change depending on your character level (seated officer, vice captain or captain) I do not believe that we will ever give someone the class of 'Standard Shinigami' unless a character consists of about 2 lines of text, or has such obscenely bad spelling and grammar that they probably haven't been to school in 10 years.
Anyway. Here goes.
Each skill begins at 0 (ZERO!) You are NOT allowed to leave a skill at 0, they all must have at least 1 point in it.
A Standard Shinigami (Lowest of the Low) begins life with 90 skill points. This equates to 13 average in skills.
A Seated Officer gets 135, giving an average 19 in each skill.
Vice-Captains get 180, meaning an average 26 in each skill.
Of course, Captains get most, 225 skill points to be precise. This means an average of 32 in each skill.
Now, for Shikai and Bankai. Anyone above Seated Officer gets a Shikai. This equates to a 20 point skill bonus while in shikai form. Unlike before, YOU get to choose where these go. While in Shikai form, you get a +10 bonus to Reiatsu (this is removed when you leave shikai)
Only skilled Vice Captains, and Captains can have a Bankai. This gets you a further 20 points to add to your skills, while you are in Bankai form. You also gain +20 to your Reiatsu while in Bankai form. Like Shikai, this is removed when you leave Bankai.
Reiatsu Bonuses. For each rank you are above Normal Shinigami, you get +10 bonus in Reiatsu. This means Seated Officers get +10, Vice Captains get +20, and Captains get +30. THIS IS A BONUS TO YOUR BASIC REIATSU, NOT SHIKAI/BANKAI.
Health. You get health points equal to twice your Reiatsu BEFORE LEVEL BONUS. so your +30 for being captain doesn't raise this statistic.
As before, you get the chance to boost your normal skills using your Reiatsu. Once you reach 0 Reiatsu during a fight, you can no longer fight, This is unconciousness.
If your health reaches 0, you are dead. You can use your Reiatsu to lower damage taken, as before. So you can save yourself by falling into unconciousness, rather than dying.
Any questions about this, please feel free to PM me!

Change in skills! This post is because I can't be bothered to edit the post above this one...
Intimidate is no longer a used skill. Your skill points levels will not be changing though. Existing characters, move your intimidate points elsewhere. New characters, Just ignore the Intimidate skill.
The Averages still count for the most part. Except for now, you have one skill's equivalent to place wherever you want. I know we have some players that... putting it lightly... don't have amazing mathematical ability... If you are one of them, and are confused by this, please PM me, and i shall explain it to you to the best of my abilities.

Hello once again! And welcome to another edition of 'Statistics and Skills' I'm your host for the day, Meteor-Sama.
This post is very simply a request, and slight warning. All Characters made for the purposes of this RP need to be unique. Stealing, Borrowing or Cloning of 'Bleach' Characters is strictly not allowed. This world is not the same as the one in the anime, and it never will be.
This point has been brought to light from a certain recent post by a certain member of this here forum, no names or post times will be mentioned of course. But If anyone is found trying to create a bleach character for the purposes of this RP, they will have to change it.
Apologies for any problems this may cause.

This post is for Current members only!
Zdrastvuy! There's another change. Yes, another. Swordsmanship and Martial Arts are now one single skill; Melee. Add up the points you have in the two, and that's your offensive skill. However, you must specify a preferred method of attack; Armed or Unarmed. This goes right next to the stat in your profile. Flashcry, of course, is only accessible to Unarmed specialists.
Old stat section example: Swordsmanship: 40 (50) [60] Martial Arts: 10 (15) [20] Kidou: 15
New stat section example: Melee (Sword Specialist): 50 (65) [80] Kidou: 15
Please note that melee skill is cleft in twain (cut in half) if the user isn't using their preferred method of attack. The above sword specialist, for instance, has an unarmed attack rating of 25, so he better not lose his/her sword. Similarly, if he/she was a martial artist who gots roped into a kendo tourney, their armed attack would be 25.
The Enrichment Centre apologizes for the inconvenience, and wishes you the best of luck.

uhm... there's a question I'd have... not sure if the answer is already written somewhere but if then I can't find it... How fast does one regenerate Reiatsu? I've just wondered about it especially since Yamiko's Shikai is extremely Reiatsu expensive so I'd be interested in how long she has to wait until she is at full again...

i hate to think that no one really knows, but if you ask me the whole point system is just to show rank and standing, how the characters stack up against thier foes, from there it gets to be really the writers creative imagination. so if your tech is really heavy on reiatsu it probably takes a bit to build up the amount of energy needed to perform the attack so make it look like your taking time in the post. i'm sure the mods have different ideas, but they have yet to really tel us, and if you read the fight between tahoshi's and razgriz's fight against juno you can get a feel for the more epic reiatsu duel. it always looks to me if you can write it and make it look credible it will probably fly. if you ask me it's play by ear and good guesses.

It's all down to creative license on this one. Basically, without reiatsu, you are unconcious/dying.
Now, you can regain enough to not die quite quickly, in a few minutes maybe. This means that the 4th squad has to do things to keep you going during that time. You can't steal reiatsu, or give reiatsu to others, so its down to technology... Soul Cleaners and stuff like that.
For big, powerful attacks, using getsuga tenshou as an example... Ichigo has a literal fuckton of reiatsu, so he seems to recover quickly...
As far as I can tell from the series... Reiatsu is like endurance. It covers how much "power" you have, as well as how fast you recover from things. For attacks/skills that are Reiatsu dependent, you get to choose how much reiatsu you put into it.
I wouldn't say its entirely "play by ear and good guesses" but its more about creative judgement and educated guesses. For someone to "put everything they have into one final attack" and then walk away as if they've just gone for a short jog... thats silly. Technically, if you write it well, make it look credible, then thats cool... but you do need to put thought into it. The stats have always been a method for stopping godmoding, rather than concrete rules.
Use your knowledge of Bleach to your advantage. If you think your attack is draining, then make it draining. Attacks will usually use a % of your reiatsu, rather than a number of it, so unless you use 100% of it, you can't knock yourself out by using too much.
I hope that covers it...
