Canola oil is actually rapeseed oil but the name was changed in Canada for marketing reasons. I don't see why...

Lol. nice.
2% of the kernel for Linux is currently still the work of Linus Torvalds. Considering how many people are working on it, i'd say thats pretty impressive.

In 1948 and 1950 the oldest ears of popping corn were discovered. They were located in the Bat Cave of west central New Mexico. They ranged in size from smaller than a penny to approximately two inches, and were about 4,000 years old.

In 1886, Coca-cola was first served at a pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia for only five cents a glass. A pharmacist named John Pemberton created the formula for Coca-cola. The formula for Coca-cola has never been patented. Coca-Cola used to contain cocaine when it was initially introduced. Coca-Cola was the first soft drink to be consumed in outer space. Every second, 8000 Coca-Cola Company products are consumed in the world. In 1929, the Coca-Cola slogan was "The Pause That Refreshes." The Coca Cola company offers more than 300 different beverages. When Coca-Cola was invented, American tourists that visited Spain were surprised to see that Coke was three times as expensive as a glass of brandy.

The capital of Vermont, Montpelier is the only state capital in the United States that does not have a McDonalds.

If all the bottles of Coca-Cola (nevermind all the other Coke products) were to be stacked, base-to-tip, they'd reach to the moon and back over 265,000 times.

Coffee has about five times the amount of caffeine as a can of Coke.

Tea actually contains more caffeine than Coffee. Just the brewing process doesn't allow much of it into the cup.

Decaffeinated coffee is not 100% caffeine free. When coffee is being decaffeinated, 2% of the caffeine still remains in it.

This one is on a complete tangent... though it really does fit the title of the thread... this one, you most probably do know.
I, Tahoshi... Often have much free time on my hands.

Well after this fact u won't say that anymore.
Behram, an Indian thug, holds the record for most murders by a single individual. He strangled 931 people between 1790-1840 with a piece of yellow and white cloth, called a ruhmal. The most murders by a woman are 612, by Countess Erzsebet Bathory of Hungary.
Just think how much free time they had to fill if strangling was the hobby!

If i were them, i'd have chosen a much easier hobby... like decapitation. They did have too much time on their hands... though obviously not enough brain power to realise that strangling takes too long.
