Hi, I'm Midnight. I found a link to this forum on TVTropes and decided to give it a try.
I was wondering, how are ranks chosen? There was nothing mentioned in any of the rules or anything...

Ranks are chosen by the admins. We look over your profile and check for a few things.
Ability to construct a sentence properly; with grammar and spelling included.
A well thought out background that matches the personality and weapons
Balanced shikai and bankai, without a stupidly overpowered ability that's thrown in for the hell of it.

Greetings all, I found this site by... surprise, surprise TVtropes. I haven't really played an forumRPG before, I have written before(I love writing and reading)... but those two aren't quite the same. I'll try my best not to be a complete jerk  I've got the background for my guy done, and I've his Zanpakutoh thought out, I'll have a character sheet up later... I hope I get along well with you all. One question, do I need to put up stats for all three levels(Captain, vice and mook)? |

Welcome to RU. The way you've done it is perfect, as it lets us see what kind of progression your character would make throughout his life. Also, it means you've filled in enough to be part of a flashback story if we ever do one (i'm sure we will at some point.... I'm tempted to write a side-short-story about a certain part of our history...)
I'll let you know as soon as we decide what rank you're going to get.

Er hello, I'm Matthew, but please i prefer either Matt or my user name Kaguro. I am currently 18, for a little under a month at this point in time.
I love to RP, though as fair warning sometimes if I'm really excited i tend to to....odd things in RPs so please warn me if I am doing so. errrr, yeah that's all i can think of right now, besides the fact I'm kinda shy around new people and i tend not to post if i honestly can't think of what my character would be doing at that point in time in the RP

Their old greetings... their first meeting... he would find not much information here. But he would take solace in the fact that once, like him, they were bound to the RP. His next stop would be the first chapter, attempting to find what made them leave and escape this cycle... or perhaps they only migrated, and didn't free themselves...? Anyway, this would be his linkbase for now, linking any page he stumbled across from this site. When he eventually found it... his home. That couldn't be a link, however, by the rules of shameless advertising online, by his prideful honour! He would simply one day slip through the cracks and disappear without a word of his home. He would, however, use this is a travelling base across Reaper's Union. Hmmm...
"Tahoshi? Can you teleport me to the desktop page?"
