"I can't help it! Those pasty faces, those demonic red eyes, the two-foot shoes! They just freak me out!" screeched Galm. Rikka looked at Galm a bit curiously. Rikka had never seen Glam scared... she'd seen her mad and relentless in fights, but not scared. This made her feel nervous. Rikka had never really seen a clown, not up close anyway, and she didn't really want to from the way that Galm was describing them.
"It'll be ok Galm." Rikka said in a cheery voice. "I'll protect you from those Clowns." Galm looked at Rikka, her fear filled faced turned to one of horror at Rikka's words. Galm figured, Rikka, being who she was, would either forget that she was protecting Galm and join the Clowns in destroying her or that she would trip and let the clowns attack her. Galm nodded her head and laughed nervously.
"Captain Tahoshi and Hotaru already left, you know. You're really late. Have fun!" Sneered Yui as she walked away from them. This bring Rikka and Galm back to the reality that they weren't fighting clowns, but rather they were supposed to meet Tahoshi and go to Hueco Mundo.
"Oh No! I'm late again!" Rikka said turning to Galm and then adding. "We have to run." She then grabbed Galms wrist and started to drag her towards the gate. As they got closer to the gate, she yelled for the Kidou Corps to open the gate. She had no intention of stopping.
Running through the gate, they came to the other side seeing that Tahoshi and Hotaru didn't wait for them to start the fight. Tahoshi was surrounded by what looked like Gillian class hollows and a few Adjuchas. Hotaru looked to have her hands full with a couple large hollows and Gillian, but she took enough time to shoot the new arrivals with a glare. "It's about fucking time you two got here!"

"What the hell is all that yelling", Ryu asked himself. He could hear it coming from the far end of the street he was walking down. As he got closer to the end he could hear that it was someone screaming about clowns. He paused for a second to try to figure out what clowns were, which turned out to be a good idea since a moment later two women, one draging the other behind her, darted right by the place he would have been standing if he had kept walking. The one being draged was still gibbering about clowns while the one dragging her was screeching about being late
Ryu made it to the end of the road and looked just in time to see them disapear into the gate to Hueco Mundo. Looking the other way he saw another woman stalking away complaining about Russians. "Damn," Ryu said to himself, "Are all the women around here crazy?"

"Are all the women around here crazy?" Ryu said thinking he was talking to himself.
"I think you need to watch your tongue." said a smooth, soft voice.
"Oh sorry I was just... Huh?" Ryu turns around to see who he's talking to and sees only a black cat.
"What never seen a talking cat before?" The cat transforms in to a little girl about the age of a five year old wearing a captain's uniform. "I had to hide from Rikka last night. I was waiting for her to leave. And I resent your remark. Although seeing how people act around here and personally putting up with Rikka I have to say you’re somewhat correct."
Aki turns around and begins to walk away but stops and says, “And I wouldn’t let them hear you say they’re crazy because they might just have to prove you right.”

Hotaru soon regained her composure, steadily holding her longsword in one hand as she chucked the unneeded sheath out of the way, grinning as she pulled her goggles up before placing her other hand hand on the hilt as well. She didn't need to wait long like this before the first Hollow struck. The huge beast crashed through the crystalline trees, Hotaru ducking and weaving between the falling shards. It wasn't long before she had sliced it's mask in half, the lesser Hollow quickly disintegrating. No sooner than her feet were back on the ground, another one of the beasts reared up behind her and struck, the Seated Officer barely managing to slice off the offending clawed arm. But before she could rend the monster's mask, a long, snakelike body lashed out and wrapped tightly about her torso. "Hssssss..... Don't worry Little Shinigami....." the Hollow whispered in her ear as it dragged it's clawed hand across her cheek and neck, blood drawn up in their wake "I won't let those nasty things eat you..." Her eyes widened as she felt it's slimy tounge slide across her skin, the Adjuchas lapping the blood from the claw wounds. "You're going to be my tasty snack..." it seemed to almost be purring as it continued to hold her tight, the other lesser Hollow staying back for fear of the much stronger one that had butted in. That is, until they noticed the Gillian with the missing arm trying to slink away.
Hotaru could barely move, her Zanpakutoh steadily slipping from her grip. God no...I'm not gonna get eaten trying to save my Captain.... "Accolade of the Rising Sun..." she wheezed, having troubles breathing as the Hollow continued to squeeze her tighter "D-dance of the Autumn Flame!" The resulting blaze of white light caused the Naga Hollow to reel back, his grip on Hotaru slackening as he shielded his crimson eyes. She jumped on the opportunity instantly, worming her way out of the coils, trying to end her fight with the Hollow before the light from her Shikai's release subsided. She took one powerful slash at where she saw his mask to be, the heated blade slicing through the mask with almost no resistance until the Hollow grasped the blade, utilizing all his strength to keep the blade from further damaging his face, growling through the pain. One powerful swipe of his lengthy tail sent Hotaru to the ground, her sword slowly turning the sand beneath it to glass. When she regained her footing, the Hollow was keeping his distance, eyeing Maiakienkou with a wary gaze. Both of his clawed hands were charred and deformed, blood oozing from the cracked and cooked flesh. Seeing that it had been weakened, Hotaru rushed in to deal the killing blow.
"Senkou Gyakujou!" A bright flash simmilar to her Shikai release went off, blinding the Hollow once more, a thud barely audible over the light roar from the 'attack'. The Hollow had run into a tree, pulling himself back up as the flash subsided, the minor movement preventing his head from being lopped off. Growling, his eyes widened in anger, he tightly grasped the off-balance Hotaru by her main sword arm, lifting her off the ground and throwing her as far as he could before fleeing. He ended up in a worse situation, a certain frenzied Captain's lava-coated fist sending him flying back, his mask shattered into a thousand shards. He landed in a heap and, no longer a concern, more Hollows moving in onto the scene. When Hotaru stood back to her feet and took a look around, she cursed loudly. It didn't look good. There were at least 30 more Hollows gathered at the scene and she didn't think she could handle this by herself. Then, like a gift from the heavens, backup arrived. She turned to look back to them as she dodged and countered another Hollow's attack. "It's about fucking time you got here!"

Tahoshi was having a whale of a time in this battle. He felt like he was fighting a war on his own, which was very good as he was just one. The laws of few Vs Many were on his side.
"Bring it on you mindless drones!" he yelled at the gillian. Each and every one of the dozen towering black... towers... marched towards him, each of them firing a Cero at the same time... The frenzied captain spun around, and smashed a Naga-like Adjuchas in the face before flaring up like the sun, the flame-shield surrounding him, protecting him from the Cero blasts to his back. One of them made it through the flames, but his wings took the brunt of the blow, sending him flying into one of the crystalline trees, shattering it into a shower for the ground-bound Hollow. Soon, the Gillian were upon him, but stopped for a moment.
"Hahahahaha! that's it young ones, fail while your friend is already back home!" yelled Kyuuketsuki from the sidelines. "You'll be killed here by my pets, while your young friend is already killing your boss!" he laughed, flaring up as he raised his Reiatsu to levels that would make most seated officers flee... if they could move.
"You..." Tahoshi said, watching each of the Gillian closely, waiting for the perfect time.
"yes, Captain." Kyuu said, bowing. "T'is I, the one who will orchestrate the end of your life." he finished. Tahoshi smiled widely.
"Only if you can get close to me." he said, turning to his inner-voice. "Come on Tiamat, it's time for that power you promised me." he said, roaring back in reality. The flames on his wings flared up, spreading out behind him to form a single wing.
"HELLFIRE!" he yelled. Every flame on his body turned into a tower of flame around him, spreading out to a radius that encompassed every Gillian in the area, frying them in a brilliant fireworks display.
As the flames subsided, Tahoshi stood, panting heavily amidst a forest of fading Gillian. "I'll take anything you can throw at me, Hollow." he said, up towards the form of Kyuuketsuki.
"Time's up." he said, vanishing in a puff of reiatsu.

The clouds moved slowly across the sky of Soul Society. Far out in the furthest reaches of Rukongai, a crack slowly opened in the air.
"Time to gets me some tasty souls!" was the first voice that came through the crack. Slowly, the break in the fabric of soul society widened until the lumbering form of a Menos could fit without ducking.
On the ground, two Shinigami smiled, one, the missing Captain known as Juno, and the other, a recently dead Captain known a Akiko.
"Come on my lovely, it's time to save our lives." Akiko said, walking slowly over the threshold, Juno in tow. "We're going to kill a boss..." she added, moving out of the way of the Menos. Two dozen of them stepped through, one by one. Every single Shinigami in all of Soul Society did a double take at the massive amount of spiritual energy that had just appeared.... Massive amounts of dark spiritual energy.
"Prophecies are coming true today..." Sato said, sat on his large chair. He stood up, and grasped his Zanpakutoh firmly in both of his hands. "Time will begin again soon enough for some people..." he added, before walking out into the sunlight.
"Mobilise every available swordarm!" he called as soon as he had left the building.

Stealth wasn't ever on of Yui's biggest priorities. Annoying that freakishly tall guy, however, was. If sneaking in was how she'd do it, so be it. It was quite simple, too; once she'd turned the two members inside the HQ at the moment into babbling idiots fighting over her (as she quietly slipped away. Thank you, Kotone!), there was nothing from stopping her from walking into the office. Sure enough, there he was, standing at the window and completely ignoring his paperwork.
"Wow, that is a lot" she mumbled to herself, looking for something to tamper with. Almost as soon as she said it, she found it: his zanpakutoh, lying on the desk, underneath an exceptionally long, denied-for-being-pointless, request to add knife-throwing to standard swordsmanship training. Almost not believing it was there, she stared for a second in ecstatic disbelief "Once I get this, oh he'll be so embarrassed!" she whispered, again to herself, in glee. Reaching for it, she gripped it slowly, still trying not to make a sound. Still surprised at just how well this was going, she lifted it... ...and it exploded in her face in a stream of plastic strips as a loud and obnoxious noise filled her eardrums.
Glancing over and holding his zanpakutoh in front of him, Captain Hremsfeld was pleased to see his trap actually pay off. "You know, my Vice-Captain was an admitted and proud career criminal. Did you really think I would leave stuff as valuable as my zanpakutoh just lying around, unsecured? On second thought, don't answer that."
"Then what the hell was this?!" Cried the still-dazed Vice-Captain, clutching what was now obviously a confetti dispenser disguised as a certain person's nodachi.
"That was a confetti dispenser disguised as a certain person's nodachi. 12th squad whipped it a batch for me. Should anyone with a different reiatsu than mine or 12's captain try to move it, well, you just saw."
"WHO SETS TRAPS IN THEIR OWN OFFICE?!?!?!"
"Well...me, for one."
As the very aggravated-looking woman stormed out muttering something he didn't even want to hear, Razgriz inwardly cackled as he settled back down into his paperwork. As he sorted through the stacks of unproductive criticism, love notes, mis-delivered mail, threatening letters from American Express about late payments, kindly letters from American Express inviting to sign up for a credit card, and potentially useful ideas, boredom quickly set in. Leaning back in his chair, an odd sensation ran up his spine. "Is that...reiatsu? Damn, if I can feel it, something big's out there."
Grabbing his zanpakutoh and running for the door, he barked an order to the two shinigami having a fistfight to break it up and come see whatever it was that was making that massive reiatsu.
Stepping outside, the skyline showed the problem quite clearly in the form of two dozen towering creatures emerging from a hole in the sky.
"Alright. You two are way too new for this. Back inside, now; you're way out of your league." Not getting any complaint from the two, the tall captain ran towards the creatures, successfully getting their attention with a fireball. Five of the low menos broke off from the group and started heading towards him, evidently mindlessly following orders. Naturally, the Gillians all tried to Cero him into non-existance at the same time, thus making it relatively easy to just walk over the blasts and start slicing open some masks.

After holding his conversation with a cat that had turned out to be a captain, Ryu decided to go back to his room. There wasn't really much to be done today so he was hoping to continue with his vacation. As he walked he continued to think out loud.
"This is going to take some getting used to. I've never even heard of a person who could turn into a cat before, let alone someone like that being a captain."
Something flickered on the edge of his awarness. It didn't stay long enough for him to get a feel for what it was, but it did make him frown. " Something about that didn't feel right......"
The massive amounts of reiatsu that slamed into him next stoped him dead in his tracks.
Ryu quickly jumped onto the nearest wall and looked around. Of in the distence he could see the towering form of Menos and the Shinigami who were already fighting them. "Well, it looks like my vacation is going to get cut short." He said to himself as he took off towards the Menos to join the others. "Time to get back to work."

Arriving at the scene of the fight, Ryu drew his Zanpakuto and started for the nearest Menos. "This level of hollow shouldn't be to much of a problem, even though there are a good amount of them. They are incredibly slow and stupid. The only thing I need to look out for are those cero blasts, those things are pretty po..." As if reading his thoughts the menos he was moving toward fired a cero blast at him and, being so deep in thought, he almost didn't notice it in time.
Ryu quickly threw himself to the left in a shoulder roll and then came back on his feet. "This is no time to lose your focus!" he yelled, angry with himself for almost getting killed by a Gillian. He placed his hand left on the blade of his zanpakuto, right above the hilt. "Flare up, Nenshou Fenikkusu!" The blade transformed under his hand as he ran it down the blade. He used Shunpo to quickly bring himself level with the Gillian's head, appearing to be laying on his back in the air and pointing at the hollow.
"Hado 4, Byakurai."
A white blot of lighting shot from his outstretched finger and hit the Gillian between the eye's, but didn't have the desired affect. Instead of disappearing, the Gillian turned toward Ryu and opened his mouth, preparing for another cero. "Tch, so much for my kido skills. Guess I'll have to get my hands dirty here." Ryu back flipped to bring his feet under him, finding perches on the spirit particles beneath his feet, and lunged forward. He again front flipped and brought both his feet down on the Gillians forehead. He then reversed his zanpakuto and slammed it into it's mask before running down it's face. Reaching the chin, Ryu jumped to the ground and looked behind him to make sure it was dissipating this time.
Reassured of his kill, he looked around and saw a tall man in a captains coat fighting off five Menos at once. He was so involved in his fight he didn't notice the single Gillian behind him as it began to charge up a cero blast to fire at the captain. Ryu quickly flashed stepped behind the captain and swung back around toward the Gillian just at it fired. Seeing the incoming blast, Ryu swung his blade and said the words that would release its power, "Daiichi Kakyoku: Nenshou Getsu!". A wave of fire erupted from his zanpakuto and intercepted the cero, keeping it from taking out Ryu and the captain.
Ryu turned and saw the captain step back from his fight and look over his shoulder, seeming to notice the threat from behind for the first time. Ryu gave him a respectful nod, " You should really learn to watch your back....sir."

Running up to the collection of tarnished souls, Captain Hremsfeld was quickly forced to admit that, in packs, Gillians were rather hard to take down. They'd given up trying to hit him with a cero volley, and were now shooting whenever he was about to slice one of them open. On the odd time they weren't shooting at him, they would defend each other by knocking his zanpakutoh (and, by extension, him) away whenever one was attacked. Anticipating the house-sized fist coming at him, Razgriz spun as far as he could in the air and sliced into the offending hand. A finger came off in a spray of blood, giving the captain what he thought was enough of a distraction to finally take one of them down.
Quite to his surprise, however, right as he wound up his arm for the death blow, a red blast knocked him back into the creature; impalement-upon-neck-spike was luckily avoided only by a few inches. Wheeling about, Razgriz's eyes flared and he longed to lacerate the hollow for what it had done. Just as he was about to fling himself at it, however, the previous events came back into his head, mainly having blocked the blow.
"Alright, no. If you go crazy on this one, then yeah, it'll probably go down, but the other four- woah!" Caught mid-monologue by a new-coming Gillian's mouth, the captain of Third Squad couldn't get out "will then kill me," being too busy trying to not get eaten. The hollow he was on, however, was not as lucky and within ten seconds the new arrival had absorbed the former hollow's power.
"Just remember," Razgriz said to himself, feeling like he'd bitten off more than he could chew "you can at least hold them off until someone else shows up and- Guh!"
With those pesky distractions, near-death and cannibalism, Captain Buzzcut had not noticed that one of the original hollows had gotten behind him and was charging up its own cero again. Until, that is, it hit him. Tumbling down from the height of their heads onto a building, the general suckiness of his situation finally sunk in; the five had surrounded him, so no matter which Gillian he attacked, he would be turning his back to the others. With a curse at having let the situation get so far out of hand and at having been arrogant enough to think he could destroy them unaided, Razgriz put his hand onto his blade and begun his incantation.
"Bring them full circle..." The Gillians started charging another volley. "...Todesannaherungen." As his blade curved, the ceros reached their full size. "Oplot..." Five spheres of light rushed at him, launched with the sole purpose of absolute destruction. "Todesannaherungen!" As the blasts were coming down from above, Razgriz raised the shield he now bore above his head, seeking to stop all the blasts. It wasn't until they reached the shield that he saw it wasn't as good a plan as he'd hoped. More accurately, it wasn't until they reached where the shield wasn't that he saw his mistake.
The chunks of cero that passed the sheild were more like lasers than rockets, so when three of them hit the ground near his legs they merely burned through thirty feet of rock. The two that made contact with his legs, however, stung worse than a bee ambush. Meanwhile, the blasts that stayed above the shield weren't agreeing with each other, as evidenced by the massive explosion they caused. Getting back to his feet virtually in step with the Gillians (very...very...slowly...) and trying to ignore the pain, Razgriz reiterated his shikai's release, causing it to re-mold back into a sickle which was quickly buried into one of the Gillians' face. Right as that happened, an all-too-familiar red glow came up behind him. Much to his surprise and delight, however, only words reached him.
"Daiichi Kakyoku: Nenshou Getsu!"
When they were spoken, a wave of fire came out of the zanpakutoh of a shinigami who'd just appeared behind him, stopping the cero. The reinforcement nodded in salute and spake words of wisdom: "You should really learn to watch your back...sir."
Shaking his head and smirking, Captain Hremsfeld jumped back at the heavily wounded Gillian and sliced it open again. As it started to fade, he responded. "Never could get the hang of it. Razgriz Hremsfeld, Third Squad Captain. Thanks for that."

"Never could get the hang of it. Razgriz Hremsfeld, Third Squad Captain. Thanks for that."
"Ryu Kosuke, Ninth Squad Seated Officer." replied Ryu, still keeping an eye on the remaining four menos, "And you're welcome."
Assessing the situation, Ryu quickly came up with a strategy to dispatch the remaining menos. "If you don't mind sir, I'll keep a couple busy while you take out the others, that way we won't be surrounded and can then methodically take out the remaining groups of menos. That sound all right to you?"

Mostly paying attention to the hungry living skyscrapers around him, the words "ninth squad" stood out loudest in the former pilot's mind.
"You guys are having a bad time. People are going to assume you're all treasonous, even if you aren't. I'll hook 'em, you clean 'em and fry 'em."
His Top Gun reference falling completely flat, Razgriz paraphrased what he'd just said into "I'll distract them so people can see your squad killing them. Ready? Go! Byakurai!" Launching a bolt of lightning at the Gillian behind him, Capt. Hremsfeld shunpo'd behind Sgt. Koskue. Looking back and forth at the three menos now in front of him, Razgriz started to sneer, as if daring them to try their luck. With none coming, he pushed a slightly more reiatsu into his feet, propelling himself a few dozen yards above the heads of the beasts. If he needed to, a dive-bomb slash was definitely possible.
"It's only two against one," he shouted below him. "We've got the advantage. Let's go!" So saying, he launched a fireball down into a cero the left-most gillian was charging, immediately causing it to shoot off harmlessly to the side over Seireitei.

While Captain Hremsfeld held all the attention, Ryu used Shunpo to get in close to the nearest menos. He slashed it three times, wounding it, and moved on to the next, trying to take care of them as quick as possible.
He had just flashed past the second one, leaving a giant hole in its mask, as the third began to charge up a cero. At the very last moment the menos shifted slightly, bringing the blast right in line with Ryu at point blank range. Not expecting such a subtle attack from these stupid enemy's, Ryu was only able to bring his Zanpakuto in line to block the largest portion of the blast. The remaining portion slammed into him, having the double benefit of hurting like hell and putting him through a wall.
Ryu pulled himself out of the wall and shook his head to clear the stars. Looking back up and noticing that the menos were beginning to charge their respective cero blasts, all aimed at him, one thought crossed his mind.
"Oh shit."

"Hmm...pretty fast." Razgriz Hremsfeld thought to himself, after seeing Ryu perforate one Gillian and destroy another in less than three seconds. "Give him some time, and -oops." In the midst of his inner monologue, the unscathed Gillian that had been charging and aiming a cero at him decided to loose it at the other threat, shunting him into a building.
Leaving anyone incapacitated against four Menos is not what one would call "strategically sound." In an effort to level the field, Razgriz shot himself straight down in front of the Gillians as if doing a belly-flop in the sky. Fortunately, this was not a moment too soon; less than a second after he started falling, the Gillians began to charge up their ceros.
"Well, we can't have that. Oplot, Todesannaherungen." Once again, the sickle bent into a star and closed up the middle. Once again, the blasts were largely stopped by the shield. Once again, a small portion slipped past. This time, however, the shield's bearer was parallel to the blasts, and thus did not get hit. They instead continued past the captain and impacted the building just above where officer Kosuke had landed.
While the battle's momentum was still on the shinigami's side, the Russian fired a blast of reiatsu out of his feet, briefly becoming a living missile. Sadly, that distinction ended when his shield impacted the already-wounded Gillian's mask and launched it backward. Hearing a dull roar far down and agonized screeches up top, Razgriz could only infer one thing: by falling on it, the Gillian had actually managed start - and then enter - the hard-earned woodchipper.
Taken completely by surprise, Razgriz started to laugh uncontrollably in the air. Deciding to help the shinigami recover, the Gillian that had previously eaten another Gillian ate its second that day - a much-less funny site. Even less funny was that its power glow didn't receed, the beast itself did. Where before there had been standing a towering skyscraper of a hollow, there was now an unnaturally large Raven swooping in, screeching triumphantly.

Zatsuki looked up with shocked eyes, as he felt immense reiatsu come crushing there way past him. Quickly he turned to the direction of where the large amounts of reiatsu were coming from, before sprinting forward.
"What in the world could be happening?" was all that ran through Zatsuki head as he rushed for the scene.
But, when he actually got there, he gasped. There in front of him was Captain Razgriz and C Officer Ryuu, while in front of them is a large Raven like creature. Screeching with dominance and triumph.
"Oh..my...god...that is one large bird" whispered Zatsuki as he stared at the Raven. Zatsuki watch with panic eyes, as the Raven started swooping down towards Razgriz and Ryu.
"Let's see what their going to do, I never seen Captain Razgriz and Officer Ryu fight before..." thought Zatsuki as the Raven went closer to them, opening it's sharp looking claws that could probably ripe apart anyone to pieces.
